As in Clue!, the game: It was the Holder with The water weight In the Bottle.
Kidding aside, I have the same and it's been great and solid, but do think it's not designed to carry that much weight IMHO.
Truth be told, I wish our bike would have a dedicated place for a standard bottle holder.
I may be wrong, but isn't 750W the upper limit for an E-bike in many jurisdiction. You may need to be insured and all that stuff...
It's 500W in Canada.
I just checked - no chaffing, err sorry, rubbing on the tire. Even on the biggest gear, it's very close but it clears the tire.
I am running 26 PSI, maybe if it was below 10 PSI.. dunno, I don't think so.
Congrats my friend, looking real good there. I'm sure you'll be pretty happy.
I'm jealous, looking at your 1st pic. all the parts... I did not get a pair of BLUE Crocs ;) Going to have to talk to Benoit!
Oh, what is that little Red/White light at the back on the right, attached to your rack ...
I was considering the Fold seriously. Its specs, price and look are very nice.
But, of late I've been reading comments from owners that have changed my opinion.
* Paint easily scratched, very thin coat
* Seat post hole wall on frame so thin it's splitting apart
* Pedal threads on crank giving...
I agree, safety first. I too worry about engaging the motor while pushing it... with the 12 magnet sensor, it really does not take much to get it going.
And as @Falken said... Just depends what you're used to and prefer I guess.
I have bought 2 items from them. I am very happy. https://www.1859nw.com/ Both designed for the Rad Rover ebikes, but working fine on my Teo Fat Bike. I had both shipped to my son's cottage in the US while we were there. Just installed and tried them out on my Teo. Mahvellous!! as Billy...
Hi.
Can't speak of the Trail Tracker, don't know much about it.
I have a Teo and cannot say enough good things about it. I have a Red S Limited with fenders, rear rack with light. Very nice paint job.
But I have to admit the Rad Rover is also a good buy, it is very similar to the Teo Fat...
Thank you for this @Falken, looks like a decent mod.
If you don't mind me asking, how was it shipped to you, USPS? Normally much better than UPS for me at least. I bought from Luna, but had them ship to my son in California...
Just curious.
You have made a good choice and truly hope you will get it soon. I'm happy to see you saw the added value.
The GTA Téo riders are growing in numbers.
The glossy RED is a beautiful RED, not the RED I expected but I'm getting tons of Oos and Ahhhs when I ride it. I love it. The paint job is...
Well this ain't Peoria. I'm in the Toronto area, 7+ million people, including some burbs.
Most major metropolitan area in North America put up a fight with cyclists, that is a fact. Cars VS bicycles. Let's ban bicycles here, and here... No! to more safe cycle paths, well maybe, we'll see next...
Thank you all for your answers and suggestions. Very much appreciated.
As mentioned, it's the most expensive component of an E-bike, one has to take good care of it but not go nuts on this.
Yes on the Limited, it's $300 more, then Téo charges $99 for shipping to YOUR door, compared to $49 for a Voltbike to the closest Vitran location...
Hydraulic Brakes and the 17AH battery is worth more than that...
In any event good luck my friend.
Well, I purchased a Téo, so my opinion may be biased..
I have a medium size, and am 5'8" and 31" inseam. Good size for me.
The $300 difference for the Téo is well worth it. Look at Court's video review, and if that does not convince you, there's nothing I can add.
I could not be...
