    Getting drafted by other bikers

In roadie circles, it's considered rude to draft behind someone for an extended period without asking in some sort of manner and to not then take a turn at the front as rotating turns will allow both riders to travel faster with less effort. The following rider is dependent on you and will take...

    Article: Everyone hates e-bikes

At the core is that everyone hates bicycles, ebikes are just the latest variation of that and a new group of enthusiasts to discover that no one wants them to ride anywhere that might interfere with their car.

Is there's too much emphasis on speed in the industry ?

I think the interest in speed is inverse to age. It's mostly older folks who are happy to cruise around at 15-20, since they can see how well that fits in with existing cycling or pedestrian pathways. If you want to capture the younger market, just like in selling bicycles, you need to sell...

I think you're right on, at least in the US.

The price of eBikes is out of control

Quality bikes are expensive, then when you add motors and batteries, it only adds on top of it. Margins in the shops on bikes are not as great as you think, manufacturers do ok though. Sure though, you can buy a nice used car or motorcycle for the price of one. It's always been that way.

Which One? Fat Tire / Plus Tire / Suspension

You might want to invest in dropper posts so you can gain a few more inches of headroom for your bed. You could also pull the seatposts out if you're not going to ride often, but droppers are awesome offroad too.

    Turbo Levo chain questions

I'm firmly in school #1 And I lube my chains before every ride, it takes seconds. Wipe, drip lube sparingly while back pedaling, and you're done.

Will 2018 be a "Big Year" for eBikes?

It's all dependent on access...... More places you can ride them = more ebikes

How bike or ebike friendly are the Utah National Parks

Unlike a for profit business, federal, state and local parks don't care if you don't visit.

Future of ebike, will it evolve more?

Motor weights will come down somewhat, torque will increase, in the US, power levels will rise to meet the 750w limit. Battery tech is really the future, whoever can make smaller, lighter batteries with greater storage will rule the e-world.

How bike or ebike friendly are the Utah National Parks

I've been riding in Moab since the 80's, in those days, the only places to ride were all roads and trails open to motorcycles and jeeps, and even then on those fully rigid and basically crappy bikes compared to what are available now, we were faster than jeeps almost everywhere. These days, it's...

    Need e-ride home after injury

Having built a bunch of wheels, if the choice is a couple of mm too long or too short, choose too short. 5mm is a lot though. Make sure your IRD is accurate, the manufacturer might list it, if you have to measure, measure in several places as a bare rim is not perfectly round. I've learned all...

    Fenders for 2.35 tires

What size are your wheels? 26/27.5/29? Mountain bike fenders should get you what you need, you might have to trim them to fit in your frame though.
