Received my latest batch CCX from Juiced Bikes...

Not going to lie, I did it mainly for aesthetic reasons. =)

Received my latest batch CCX from Juiced Bikes...

A few modifications to the CCX today. Shimano DEORE XT Pedals Lizard skin fork protectors Ritchey 60mm stem with a 30-degree rise to give me a more relaxed riding position, big difference. With the remaining material cut from the Lizard Skin, I made a chainstay protector. Waste not, want not.

CCS2 - Bike Rack and Fenders

I've never ridden in the rain, I only use my bike for recreational riding with family on clear days.

Juiced Bikes Crosscurrent X or S2 Full Fender and Rear Rack set

I just received my 2020 Crosscurrent X from Juiced bikes and the first thing I removed was the fenders and rear rack. I like my bikes looking bare minimal. Here is a complete set of factory fenders (front and rear) plus the rear rack for sale, obviously brand new. It would be a direct fit for...

Received my latest batch CCX from Juiced Bikes...

Christmas came early. My order from Black Friday arrived yesterday and today I had some free time so I unboxed and assembled the bike. The first thing to go was the goofy looking fenders, kept the rack though. Looks like the latest batch CCX comes with the side cooling vents just like the...

    Lectric XP

I was thinking about them but I think some kind of tube sealant would be more than enough. Once you take off the factory CST tires and compare them to the Kenda Kraze you’ll see how much thicker and heavy duty the Kendas are. The CST tires feel super thin and they remind me of the foldable road...

    Lectric XP

You’re gonna love them Old Biker, a tip when installing them is to spray some soapy water solution around tire and rim, fill it up half way with air then make sure they are positioned evenly on the rim before the final air fill.

    Lectric XP

Took the family on a bike ride last Sunday, the wife was on her white XP (Kenda Kraze tires), I let my sister borrow my black XP (Factory CST tires). About 7 miles into our ride my sister manages to get a flat on the front tire. Looks like it was punctured by these little thorns on the trail. I...

    Lectric XP

It was quite easy actually, what I did was remove the rear brake caliper, two bolts, then slide the cassette side bolt into the drop out first, with a flat head screwdriver I jammed it against the rear drop out and hub on the opposite side and the whole thing just slid down into place. Easy peasy.

    Lectric XP

Did the first modification to my wife's XP today, Kenda Kraze 20x4.25 tires. WOW, what a difference, so much smoother and quieter. The bike also seems to pick up speed much quicker. They're puncture resistant and they also have a reflective ring for safety, I highly recommend these. I'll be...

Old Biker, as I said in my previous post, the sale seems to be over now. It was $1099 with $300 off yesterday.✌

    Lectric XP

I just checked on the Rattan website and looks like the sale is over. It was $300 off each model yesterday, so $1099 for the Pro or $1199 for the Plus, respectively making it only $100-$200 more per bike plus tax over the current XP pricing.

Trizzuth, I think the first photos were the pre-production models, you can see the updated cable management in the production version, bottom picture. ;)

A Comparison review for the Rattan Fat Bear Plus vs. Lectric XP

A comparison between the Lectric XP and Rattan Fat Bear. Just a disclaimer, I don't work for either company, I bought 2 XPs and a Rattan Fat Bear Plus, all with my own money. The first impression out of the box, the Rattan FB weighs in at 58.8 lbs which is impressive since it's full suspension...

The batteries have the same form factor and are interchangeable, the Rattan's computer is fully unlocked.

    Lectric XP

The Rattan has regenerative capabilities and plus the battery is slighter bigger as well. 11.6Ah for the Rattan vs. 10.4 for the Lectric. I have a 25+ mile bike ride tomorrow and I'll test both out for real-world range, of course, I'm 210lbs and I'll be on the Rattan, my wife who is 94lbs will...

    Lectric XP

Here is my black Lectric XP rigged up with my little girl's Co-Pilot tandem attachment. I took her on a 10 mile ride yesterday and she said this was the best thing ever! While waiting for my two Lectric XPs to ship, my Pre-Order Rattan Fat Bear Plus came. Similar price point (about $1200 with...

    Lectric XP

I ordered 2 XPs, a white and black, my black one arrived a few days ago and no bag inside, order 57xx. I emailed Lectric and they are sending me one. My wife's white one has a label created but not shipped yet, hoping the bag is included with her bike.
