Why no CADENCE or POWER displays.

It is another data field I have loaded. 275 is the power (3 sec averaged). 75 is the average power for the 35 second ride . I only ran this for < 1 minute in my indoor garage without GPS signal. Hence, the 0 distance reading.

Why no CADENCE or POWER displays.

Ebike multifield is a non-Garmin app that needs to be sideloaded to the Edge.

Why no CADENCE or POWER displays.

I have had no difficulty with Ebike Multifield provided I disable the Creo Ebike sensor connection and of course Creo power sensor is paired. The 4th row on the attached screen shot is the Ebike app pared down to 2 fields. Creo power is displayed in the bottom right field.

Why no CADENCE or POWER displays.

There is a separate Creo power sensor that you must pair. I have also found that if you allow the unit to "sleep", at a rest stop for example, the power will often unpair. I am now in the habit of turning it off at a rest stop and then restarting at which it will usually pick up all sensors.

Itching to upgrade my ‘20 Vado and Creo, trade or sell?

The incremental gains from 20 to 22 are minor. As others have stated, you'll probably end up with a better bike by upgrading components on your existing ride, rather than repurchasing what you already have in a 2022 outfit. Of course, if that's what makes you grin, go for it!

    off topic, mostly

Understated elegance...that is tempting. I have a 2014 Roubaix with upgraded drivetrain. It is not the lightest by today's standards but I just revel in how nimble it feels after getting off the Creo. It feels like I'm warming up in the batter's circle and just pulled off the weighted fungo ring...

    Creo and chainring/cassette configurations

Pretty much what I do regarding assist. Ride at 15/25 which seems to neutralize the bike weight on gentle climbs and provides a little bump on flats. Battery consumption at this rate allows >150 mile range. I have the standard setup, 46T and 11-42 cassette. The Deore derailleur can handle up...

Considering buying a Turbo Creo - Questions

@PassoGavia based on your riding in the OP, I don’t think you would require a range extender to keep pace with the peloton. The remote buttons are completely different. Almost like reaching down with your thumb and index finger to find another gear. I have my TCU set to stealth mode. I no longer...

Considering buying a Turbo Creo - Questions

Agree that the power readings are likely inflated. I have ridden with a Powertap hub and Stages left arm crank on different bikes for years. My power output numbers are generally consistent across devices. I also look at my Garmin normalized power numbers at the end of the rides and after...

Considering buying a Turbo Creo - Questions

I have used a 3rd party app with my Garmin 1030 on the initial data screen. https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/90ab1b25-7c33-48df-b002-793617b23eed The field is easily configurable and I pared it down to the only 2 fields in which I have interest (remaining battery and assist). Basically, this...

Issues with the Turbo Creo SL (all variants)

2021 Comp Carbon and I think I have the same problem which is getting more annoying. There is a squeaking coming from the frame. It is usually evident when pedaling but I can also occasionally reproduce it when coasting by quickly jerking the bars right or left. It also seems to be somewhat...

Same ride, 21 times, on my Creo

Old boy scout. I am always prepared. I never ride with less than 2 tubes and can break a chain if necessary. I worry little about the extra weight as it takes a lot longer to walk home. Also love playing the role of Good Samaritan on the roadside for those less adept at repairs. I have had my...

Issues with the Turbo Creo SL (all variants)

I also have a minor squeak. At first I thought it was from the bottom bracket. It seems as if it is non-drive train related and mainly occurs when the bike is warm. It is never evident at the beginning of a ride and was absent in the last 2 rides I did in cooler weather. I think it may be...

    2021 Creo Road Remote?

I just had remote buttons installed on Creo Carbon Carbon and am relatively pleased with the aesthetics and function. Kudos to Cadence Cycling in Philadelphia. The lighting makes the shifter on the right a little difficult to see but the tape is wrapped over a minimalist bulge. I have a Garmin...

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

Yes, I undoubtedly had periods with less effort and from my past experience with a Powertap hub, the normalized power from the Creo was not something I could sustain for 4 hours. Not bemoaning the accuracy given that it is not a power meter, just my observation.

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

Just completed a 60 mile ride with the above setup and had no data drops. My sense is that the power numbers from the Creo may be a bit inflated. Looked at my Garmin normalized power numbers and I should not be feeling this energetic now.

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

So I can now confirm that on a short test ride this works. Setup is Ebike multifield (LEV connection) , Fake Channel OFF in Mission Control , Creo / Ebike sensor disabled, pair to Creo power sensor. Of course if you want to use Creo / Ebike sensor you would need to disable the Ebike multifield...

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

Aha, the inability to find the Creo with the LEVO E-bike field enabled now makes sense. I never lost the ability to find the Creo power meter. It appears that having the fake channel enabled in Mission Control blocked the Creo from transmitting power data and it merely displayed battery...

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

Interestingly, I had my Creo previously paired although I disabled it after I loaded the 3rd party field as it provided all the data I needed on smaller real estate. I was unable to reconnect to the Creo, removed it but it was not found when I searched. However, Garmin did find the Creo speed/...

Getting Creo Power data on Garmin Edge

https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/90ab1b25-7c33-48df-b002-793617b23eed Above is the data field I use and a screenshot of the first Edge screen. LEV Battery % and Assist mode are displayed even when the Creo itself is not paired. Garmin detects a new power sensor from the Creo but it merely...
