    BH WIreless Bluetooth Issue

Thanks for the pirep, EC. " The Bluetooth module seems to provide a more natural response than the stock control unit with better control over the amount of assist." Could you say a bit more about what conditions exist (speed, gear choice, road conditions, power level) when you experience this...

    BH WIreless Bluetooth Issue

Thanks, @JFane. Here's hoping the Wizards in the back room at BH come up with a magic potion sometime soon.

    Battery Range Discrepancy?

@Ann M. I was hoping you could offer a follow-up comment about the CA you mentioned above. I'm getting ready to purchase a BH or similar, 'factory ebike' and I like the idea of installing a monitoring/evaluation tool like a Cycle Analyst. But just how difficult is it generally to install a CA...

How do i delimit my EVO Cross? Is it simple to do for a novice?

@Joergen8 I too have been reading your posts and feeling badly about your predicament. This may sound like a broken record to you, but I'm wondering if at least a few of the Dealers might not have more latitude than you imagine or is more generally true. Just to test this, I'd suggest you call...

    EASYMOTION WIRELESS BLUETOOTH CONTROL

Said differently: For a 400 Wh ebike battery, that means 1.5% of the *bike's battery capacity* would be consumed by the 6S if the bike powered the phone for that 4 hours (while the phone's battery would 'float' and remain at full capacity). So probably no meaningful reduction in range one...

    2016 evo 27.5

@billmanocchio congratulations on the purchase. I too am impressed that ~20% (or even 30%) of that size battery could have given you 20 miles of sport mode assistance. Jack

    BH WIreless Bluetooth Issue

Yeah, a whole new facet to ebike riding and ownership. Managing the glitches that come with apps and bluetooth. @JFane I've noticed some other posts from a few folks with high-end bikes that began being offered with connectivity to one's phone, and some of them have had problems as well. Does...

Is there a way to charge phone from Easy Motion bike?

Looks like a number of us have been driven to mini-portable battery packs for one reason or another. This is another common brand of battery banks among some of us who fly into more remote areas to camp, hike, etc. but might find a cell signal available, might want to enjoy what the tablet or...

    What shoes do you wear...

...and we're not sure if those are Eddie's shoes as he begins a typical ride, or is ending one. :D

Thanks, George. Turns out that was the interview I remember viewing. Very clever guy.

    When there's no dealer...

@George S. can you offer a link to @Ravi Kempaiah's interview with Paul. I did see a short one that Court did at Interbike, as I recall, but not Ravi's. Yes, that soup to nuts, fascinating, geek-speak to fun-loving interview with Justin was remarkable. And since I'll probably never have a...

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

The motor is identified in Court's video review.

    When there's no dealer...

"Court is good enough, now, to explain any bike in 20 minutes. I was impressed that even with the new Stromer, you could know the bike." Funny; I had the exact same reaction @George S. I've been mining some older reviews now that our move to Bozeman has concluded and its time to make a buying...

    Transporting a Stromer ST - 1

The Kuat looks impressive - wouldn't a work stand be a handy thing to have IF you needed it - but how does it work after removing the battery and front wheel to lessen the weight?

    Interesting perspectives on e-MTB's

Interesting. I've seen this same dynamic play out in backcountry aviation, exactly as was described by Haibike sales guy: "He said that mountainbike trail accessibility for ‘motorized’ e-MTBs is still a big issue in the US." Some Forest Service & BLM land managers - and visitors - don't think...

    Noseless saddle

@stevenast thanks for posting this thread and for the follow-up comments you offered on the other saddle thread. Since you're using this type, it would be helpful what kinds of bike geometry you're using it with (aggressive? forward leaning? multiple types?) and whether you've found it might be...

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

Here's a rider report that doesn't make the CC sound like it's incapable of powering up hills. This is also consistent with the report offered by Crazy Lenny. A MTB it is not and Chandlee mentioned climbing hills in his prototype took moderate effort, so it seems reasonable to expect...

Throttle or no Throttle? The Solution: Adapt!

Just one small note: Tora's description mentions "a half-twist throttle" (as does his Blog entry at the Juiced website). But the latest tech specs Tora posted in the long running CC thread started by Chandlee describes it as a 'thumb throttle'. If the latter is correct, good news IMO.
