Weird PAS and throttle issue evo cross

+1 on reporting the problem to the shop where you made your purchase. That's why we pay the higher cost for these ebikes, afterall. It covers the warranty and support offered by BH/Easy Motion. No reason to try and make your own repairs, especially on a bike covered under warranty.

battery life: better to not fully charge?

I charge mine to full from wherever it starts, be it down to 10% or 20% or 50%. I plug it in, come back hours later, light is green. Unplug. Done.

What kind of tail-light do you use?

Some of the headlights will include at no additional charge, a little taillight. No idea if any of them area any good or not, just pointing it out that you may not have to purchase a separate taillight. (No, I don't know which ones include them, it will say in the Amazon product description).

Another Sondors CF Campaign.. This one on KS

Limiting distribution of a product to one country or one continent can make for less headaches when it comes time for fulfillment of said product. Not so mysterious if one has already experienced the challenges of shipping a regulated product worldwide.

2015/2016 bikes - GPS Tracker, Bluetooth Module and the Premium App

I'm interested in seeing how easily/quickly one can change assist level on the fly as that's what I do constantly based on my perceived effort in pedaling. I'll start in Eco & immediately move the assist to Standard then perhaps move it up to Sport or back down depending.

    Error 13

@Ravi Kempaiah @Crazy Lenny Ebikes @lilrich1959 Gentlemen, My current EVO Street console (with v3.0 firmware) throws the Error 13 code. I see from Pastabatman above that there is a firmware update (to 3.5) and it appears to be a good update, no longer giving problems with Error 13. How can...

Nitro City as a commuter bike

I was waiting to hear (read) your real world experience with battery life. Easy Motion desperately needs to increase their aH on batteries... not by 1 aH, but get their batteries up to 14 - 16 aH. The range Easy Motion estimates just doesn't match real world results. This is my #1 point of...

    1UpUSA Bike Rack

Those skewers are not for keeping the bike on the rack in terms of fear of the bike somehow falling off. They are a security measure to keep an opportunistic thief from stealing your bike while the bike is connected to the 1UpRack and you are not guarding your bike (i.e. you eat at a restaurant...

What kind of headlight do you use (or recommend)?

It's cheap enough to try it for yourselves and test it out. You can always choose to purchase a more expensive light after trying out a cheap CREE light like the one I've tried. What can I say... it seems to work well. I don't do a lot of nighttime riding so it's not like it will get a ton of...

What kind of bell do you use?

Road traffic is the only place I would ever use that horn.

What kind of bell do you use?

My hesitation with the LoudBicycle horn, aside from the price, is that it looks large & clunky. I'm not sure how well it would fit a bike like mine.

Borp, Gorp, Torp, Sorp, Lorp, Borp, Orp

ipod wearing pedestrians on a multi-use path who are right in the middle and not listening to the sounds around them. They don't hear a regular bell (I've tried 2 different ones). They can hear the lower level ORP sound. I never need to use the loudest sound. Once I've been able to get...

What kind of bell do you use?

I use the Orp. Got mine on Amazon.com. I agree that people don't look carefully where they are going. If you're going to ride where there is traffic, you need a bell loud enough to penetrate their hearing when they're in their car.

Sondors Fact Finding. Due Diligence. Scrutiny.

Remember I said I'm a funder of the Noke U-lock on KS? Well, after insisting they were on time for a Sept delivery on every update, they finally just announced this week they will be at least 6 weeks late due to needing to redesign something in the innards of the lock. They were due to start...

Hitch or trunk rack, and weight limits

Got the 1up hitch lock. Very simple to install, took all of a minute. Now I don't have to worry (not that I was worried before but now I really don't need to worry).

Hitch or trunk rack, and weight limits

Well I've had the rack on my car every day since I received it in March 2015 and no one's bothered my car. I live in a very safe area though. In a big city I would expect someone to try and steal it (or steal anything).

Hitch or trunk rack, and weight limits

Congrats! That's the rack I have. I also just ordered a hitch lock from them, so that should arrive by next week, depending on how fast they ship it.
