    Throttle and Brake Cut-Off Wires

Are they not required for bike operation since some bikes have them and some don’t, or is there some other way it works on the bikes without the brake wires?

    Throttle and Brake Cut-Off Wires

In another thread (https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/deity-stem-bars.44001/) I noticed that @Cuz Vinny had removed his throttle and later in the thread he mentioned that his bike didn’t come with the brake cut-off wires. On the Ultra, does the brake cut-off wire only impact the...

Any updates on the status of the GPS and new display availability?

    Deity Stem & Bars

Sounds like tomorrow's project for me. I just replaced my handlebars tonight with the OneUp carbon bar and installed my new Ergon GA3 grips so I know removing is easy, I just wasn't sure if it impacted the motor or display if completely disconnected.

    Deity Stem & Bars

I had asked the question about the ability to remove the throttle a long time ago but don't think it was ever answered. Anything special that needs to be done other than simply removing it? I've already used my dropper and will continue using it on trails where needed, but don't see myself...

I don't but somebody else probably does.

    Hydra Fenders

Got the Manitou Gen 2 front fender today and installed it. Bonus it also came with a piece to route the brake cable so I installed it as well. See the first picture where that piece screws where I rerouted the cable on front.

Crank Arm Options for the Hydra

I spent some time on single track today and also experienced more pedal strikes than anticipated due to the suspension flex. I'll be looking into some new arms as well.

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

I can confirm it was the driver issue. I updated it on my computer and it worked right away.

    Where's Pushkar?

Good luck getting what you want at a LBS right now. The waits are long unless you want to settle and at these price points not everyone is willing to settle.

    Where's Pushkar?

The Hydra became available to order in November 2020.

I had a brief text correspondence with him earlier this week.

    Hydra as a commuter?

I had ordered the GA2 grips but they must have been unavailable. I’m definitely going to change these out. I’ve got the GP5 grips on my other bike and am considering them as well.

    Hydra as a commuter?

I need to spend some extended time on it to really speak to comfort but I don’t anticipate any issues. It’s a mountain bike so I don’t expect it to feel like a road bike. All the riding I’ve done so far is with the rear shock locked and that will change this weekend. I recently rode the Jeep...

    Hydra as a commuter?

Yes to both. The photo shows the thumb shifters on both sides. Left for harder gears, right for easier. The dropper is on the left side and the throttle on the right.

    Hydra as a commuter?

I’m still getting used to it but yes, shifting 3 at a time is easy. Getting used to the shifting is not a big deal at all. I was skeptical of two shifters but it’s no big deal. To go 3 it’s just a bit of a deeper push and you get tactile feedback. I’ve actually found myself staying in the higher...

    Hydra as a commuter?

I’ve had my Hydra with Kindernay in eco 5 hit 46 on a slight downhill.

    Hydra Fenders

I went ahead and ordered the OEM fender for the front. These come with the fork when you buy it retail. https://northwestbicycle.com/products/manitou-gen-2-reverse-arch-mudguard-b-ap8694
