    Where's My XP?

My center fold point latch was very very tight. It took significant force to close the latch. I guess that is a good thing. But is it normal? I was afraid I might break something getting it latch

    Where's My XP?

It is not obvious how to unbox this thing. The only thing not covered in packing material is a wire bundle/ I'm not going to use that. I might cut the side of box out so I can slide it out and not have to try and lift it. I'd like to get it out of the box, and battery on charger. My box was 3...

    Where's My XP?

Arrived today, during a thunderstorm. Box looks good. But wet. Unfortunately will probably not be able to unbox and ride today. But at least I have a big box :)

Would you mind posting pictures of you controller while you have it out? It would be nice to know what is actually in there. Also I wonder, how do they reprogram it? Maybe they will just send you one of the earlier controllers. . .

When I ordered my e-bike I had no idea if I would be able to change any settings (except for top speed). Then I got a copy of the owners manual and found that I would be able to change some others. I would like to be able to correct tire size, but, it is not a big deal to me.

I do not have the bike yet. Hopefully early next week. I plan to remove the battery and connect it to charger. Making sure the screws on battery are tight. While I wait for battery to charge I'll have time to go over rest of bike. Check for loose screws. Make sure it is adjusted properly. Will...

Did the threads in the crank look OK?

I agree. On a normal bike there should be no need for thread locking. Normal pedaling will keep the pedals tight. But on a rear hub ebike a lot of the torque comes from the opposite direction. The wheel is doing the work, not the pedal crank. The freewheel should freewheel so none of this torque...

I suspect they left changeable only the settings described in the manual. This is unfortunate, but understandable. I'm curious about what they have changed about pedals. I kind of hope mine come loose. Then I can remove them, inspect threads, and reinstall using blue lock-tight. I would like to...

    Where's My XP?

It is like a kid waiting for Christmas. Only in this case the kid is older, and does not know what day is Christmas ;)
