Due to the excellent motor brake, the mechanical brake is only rarely in use. Depending the environment (humidity / ºC) the Stromer is, the annoying noise is inevitable. Some people swear on the organic SwissStop brake pads. Give them a try.

Sorry, I can't follow. I see no way to comfrom Power to Torque through calculation. If you start with Power and then removing Time you get Work. Now you can remove Distance and you will end up with Weight. The key point is Work is not Torque even if the physical symbols looks similar.

The lineup form Stromer goes from ST1 to ST2 over ST3 up to ST5. The variety of these models is much more than only motor output. Each has its own geometry - and for the most of them are different options for the seating position available. This is something you have to test before you buy.
