Specialized turbo creo sl comp carbon evo puzzling problem

I have many happy miles on my Creo. Never had anything like that happen. Sounds like a warranty issue.

    Chain maintenance

I tried a couple of different ways. On a new chain I followed absoluteBLACK’s recommendations and cleaned the chain in mineral spirits, let it dry for 24 hours, then soaked it in GRAPHENLube. Worked like a charm. Rode 300 miles of mostly gravel in dry conditions and it didn’t need any lube, but...

    Chain maintenance

I use GraphenLUBE. You only need to relube the chain every 1,100 miles (1,800km). Plus it adds 10 watts of power going up hills. It's like an e-bike. Sometimes I don't even pedal uphill. I just kind of float up. Best chain lube ever.

Good to know. I’ve wondered about that myself.

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

    1. Flip the stem upside down so that it is angled up. 2. Install a shorter stem. 3. Install a stem angled more up than the current stem. 4. Combine 2 and 3. Look up your bike’s specs on the manufacture’s website.

Vado SL 4.0: Alternative pedals , chainring ?

With the wrench on the pedal at 12 o’clock… It tightens the pedal if you’re at 6 o’clock. Ask me how I know. Lol

It varies from state to state. There is no national VAT in the USA. Some states have zero sales tax. Others may be around 10%. People who live near state borders often decide to shop next door.

Vado SL grips for max. Hand positions

Love my cork Ergons. Been using them for years on my Stromer ST2 and Trek MTB. Durable and good looking. It isn’t raw cork. It is sealed, plasticized. I don’t ride in the rain, but I do sweat. Same grips since 2016 on the Stromers. Probably longer on the Trek, which is permanently mounted for...

I’m a fan and I haven’t even seen it yet. NHK English service? I’ll have to research it. Maybe on YouTube. The Bubbly pedals are based on the New Sylvan Tour pedals. I ordered a pair when SimWorks ran out. They are nowhere near the same, other than the fluid spin. The Sylvans are beautiful but...

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Is that in Euros? A Polish currency? Are those prices for the Vado SL 4.0 vs Vado SL 5.0? That's not the US price, which is less than 1/3 of those numbers. I bought the Vado SL 5.0 because I wanted the features, I can afford it, and I think it's a good...

51/38 is a whopper! I can’t imagine needing that on an ebike even if you’re climbing Mt. Fuji. Yeah, 50t is a big improvement over 45t. I happily upgraded to a 10-50 cassette from a 10-42. I only get to the 50t cog when I shift through all of the other gears. It is definitely a bailout gear. I...

I’ve ridden them. I have a 10-50 cassette on both my Creo and my Salsa Warroad. I ride through those gears all the time. The bigger the gear, the easier it gets. A 38t chainring would just amplify the difference. I’ve tried that too: 38, 42, and 46t chainrings. Calculators don’t measure the...

Going tubeless is a personal choice. Having that choice is not. If you buy the 4.0, you have no choice. Reminds me of Nietzsche. He walks into a café and orders a cup of coffee, no cream. The waitress says, I’m sorry, we’re out of cream. Would you like it without milk instead?

Stefan That table is backwards. The 10 speed should read “Shimano Deore, 10spd, 11-42t”. You’ve got it listed as 10-45t. The Vado 5.0 is “Shimano SLX, Hyperglide+, 12-speed, 10-45t.” You’ve got it listed as 11-42. I beg to differ on maintenance costs as well. If you want to see “high” costs...

The 5.0 wheels are tubeless ready. I switched my Vado 5.0 EQ over to tubeless. The 4.0 wheels are not compatible. The 12 speed is well worth the upgrade to me. You have higher top end and a lower granny gear. If you have hills, you’ll appreciate riding up instead of bailing out and pushing...

They are very grippy. I haven’t had pedals dig into my shins since the 1990s, but I rode differently back then. The platform is large and grippy. Your foot will not slip. Unfortunately Bubbly Pedals are made out of unobtanium. They are always sold out, but they come back in stock in a few...

Augmenting it with a ShockStop seat post would be great. Adding a ShockStop stem on top of a Future Shock would not be great. It would be a hot mess. They would interfere with each other.
