    Need Advice Concerning Motor Size

Wow! These replies are great - but I'm not receiving notices that they've posted. I will need to find out why. Thanks, everybody! To answer a few specific comments... 1) I will definitely check out the other manufacturers that were suggested. 2) I did look at the QuietKat -- but no fender kit...

    Need Advice Concerning Motor Size

Well, that's good to know. I may be biting off more than I can chew worrying about a really powerful bike. I do want low maintenance. Thanks.

    Need Advice Concerning Motor Size

I will look into that, but I think the chainrings are both the same size. I will be only 23 minutes from their headquarters when I arrive at my RV there so it will be an ideal time to take a test ride. I was worried that 350W simply would never be strong enough. But I won't be mountain climbing...

    Need Advice Concerning Motor Size

So, I was able to find a buyer for my Biktrix Juggernaut - which would not fit in my Komo Carrier attached to my RV. Looking, now, for a folding eBike that will. I really like most everything about the Evolo Quest Max. I want the Gates Carbon Drive, mid-hub, and Nuvinci 380 (or equivalent...

Exess eBike CAN be Shipped to the USA!

I believe these guys build racing bikes. So I'm not sure what it's ideal market might be. But I love the design.

Mostly New Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000 For Sale

Because I have the Komo Carrier, and there's no way to return that.

Mostly New Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000 For Sale

I have a relatively brand new Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000 for sale. I just received it on November 29th. It has never been ridden. It will not fit my Komo RV Chest, and I am not willing to keep disassembling a reassembling it to ride it. There are a few scrapes from working with it and...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Below, these photos show the reconfiguration I came up with to fit the Juggernaut (a rather large fat tire eBike) completely into the Komo WITH the handlebars still attached. It is angled with the Front Fork pulled forward at the left, and the Rear Wheel pushed all the way back at the right...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

I am now camped at Lake Mayfield in Mossyrock, WA - and finally got a chance to revisit this subject to give you all an update. I received the Komo in good order at the RV dealership in Sandy, OR - just in time for my visit. The Biktrix Juggernaut arrived about the same time after a mix-up on...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Let me add another thought. This is probably not a practical solution for guys using a pick-up truck or family car to go out on a weekend day jaunt. Too expensive, and too many compromises. This is for someone like me with an RV that might be gone a week or more (I travel a month at a time, as a...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Let's see... the hitch load is a tiny bit controversial. I tried to get to the bottom of it, but I can only report circumstantial results. Everybody in the Leisure Travel Vans Enthusiasts Group over on Facebook LOVES this unit, and reports no issues. The only complaint -- if you call it that --...

Locking Thru Axle for Inverted Wren Suspension Fork for Fat Tire?

Apparently, this is more complicated than I thought. One of the owners at Wren said they have no locking option, and have never looked into this. So they won't recommend anything. They were concerned about any repolacement axle supporting the forces exerted on an eBike with 4" tires and their...

Locking Thru Axle for Inverted Wren Suspension Fork for Fat Tire?

Tried, again. Could not find a Hexlox that fits it. Your link is to the Axle only - NOT a locking axle. When I reached out to their Support, they wrote back a short answer to "use the website finder". When you click on "Not Listed" as the Bike Brand, you are given instructions on measuring. But...

Locking Thru Axle for Inverted Wren Suspension Fork for Fat Tire?

Thanks! And that is so weird, because it is where I started. I used their "Find Your Axle" interface and all it would tell me was there wasn't one available. I will pursue it further.

Simple solution for bikes with no water bottle cage holes ...fits over most handlebars and is its own mount ! Cant get much simpler .

That Bontrager clamp is made out of aluminum. Not plastic. Just so everyone knows -- pretty durable!

Locking Thru Axle for Inverted Wren Suspension Fork for Fat Tire?

Ordered my eBike with the Wren. Supposedly, it uses a 135mm x 15mm thru axle. Spoke with Wren and they have no recommendation. Visited several manufacturers, with no luck, so far. Does anyone know of a locking thru axle that might fit? I cannot yet measure the outside of the Fork, but Biktrix...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Good point! And one of my concerns. But the photos may be a little bit misleading in that these are not three feet off the ground. I think the hitch is maybe 15in off grade. My guess is, lifting the front wheel and placing it in the carrier first will not be that difficult -- then the rear (or...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Another bit of input that answers the conflicting unit weight reports... Per Manon: The box, itself, weighs 110lbs. The carrier frame underneath that it attaches to weighs 40lbs. Total before adding your cargo = 150lbs.

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

For what this is worth... I received a very rough drawing from the Reseller here in the US, with Interior Dimensions. I then pulled the dimensional drawing for my BikTrix Juggernaut 1000 and overlaid a rough outline of the Komo to see how it might fit. The red outline and that photo are both...

eBike Storage on an RV Motorhome

Uhhh, yes, you can! And you can add an actual Bike Rack. Everything comes down to the Tongue Weight and Towing Capacity of the Hitch. See attached flier. There is a small bit of controversy concerning adding a Hitch Extender, however. eTrailers claims "ANY Hitch Extender reduces that Hitch...
