    Class 3 commuters

This isn’t true. I have a SpeedBox 2.0 on my Urban Rush and it works really well.

Looking for the Yamaha rear rack and fender kit

Nice rack! (I haven’t said that since high school)

Looking for the Yamaha rear rack and fender kit

They’re not lying. The wiring harness is right above the motor tucked into the down tube. It’s not 4 hours worth of work but it is intensive and you need the correct tools.

Class 3 Road or Gravel Bike?

That's too bad. Some folks need to realize they can't just run a marathon after 20 years of smoking. Even with assist, you need to work your way up. Hey, so you're local-ish to me (Benicia resident). Do you have a storefront or do you work out of a workshop? I have a brand new mountain...

The Canyon Grail:ON is my current bike crush.

    Best Airtag holder?

I just received a 4-pack of adhesive tag holders yesterday. They’re $7.49 with the discount code. I’ll be using them so I can hide my tags a bit better. Right now, I just have them in map pockets in our vehicles. Not very secure.

    Best Airtag holder?

Very likely because of the limited amount of Tile users as compared to Apple's huge network.

    Best Airtag holder?

I'd really like a notification when any item changes location that's not within a half mile of where I left it. I think that would be super useful but it's likely against the "anti-stalking" protocol that Apple has baked in to the device.

    Best Airtag holder?

Airtags are not made to be or marketed as a theft recovery device. They are meant to be used for recovering "lost" items. But having said that, they are effective at least for a period of time. I'm not sure how much time needs to elapse or how much distance an airtag must "follow" a person's...

    Best Airtag holder?

I taped one inside my middrive housing while I was doing a SpeedBox install. I didn’t do the “speaker removal mod” but it would take a lot of work to get to it and disable it so I’m good with that.

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Finally got out for a nice 2 hour solo ride. Feels good.

Looking for a budget ebike for short commutes

Sounds like a hubdrive will work just fine for your uses. I don’t know if Eunorau ships to your location but there’s this rear hub drive kit that includes a torque sensor instead of the more basic cadence sensor. If you have or can acquire a good donor bike, it might be a really great option.

    Rad power battery travel case?

That’s one of the things I use it for. It has a handle and I loop a seatbelt through it or attach to one of the accessory hooks in the hatch.

    Rad power battery travel case?

What will you be using it for? If it’s to bring with you on a grocery run or transporting in the car, I find that a larger neoprene wine tote works quickly and effectively.

    The electric scooter (eScooter) thread

In addition to bikes and eBikes, some of us use stand up scooters as a convenient way to get around town, commute and some recreation. Hopefully this thread can be a place where other riders can share their experiences and questions can be answered for those who are curious about them. I’ve...

Ebikemotion X35 expectations on steep hills

I previously had an Orbea F30. Great bike. But not so great eBike. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area for context on where I used it. I did a 13 mile (each way) commute with it and hills were plentiful, steep and sustained. I'm not the strongest rider but feel relatively fit. The low...

Mid drive ebike for wet weather and the occasional passenger?

I like the Eunorau G20 on the low end and the new Tern Quick Haul in the mid end.

That's nice. And it has a torque sensor!

    GoPro Hero 9

As my morning commute is still in the dark I can tell you a bit about my experiences. And I can tell you that the image stabilization tech isn’t great in the dark. It’s still a tiny sensor with terrible light gathering capabilities. You can gather more light by slowing down the frame rate but...

2 New Yamaha Models Coming ...

Wow. That gained a lot of weight. The current one w/o suspension fork is 43.5 pounds. Heck even the Cross Connect (which seems to be what it's more actually replacing) is lighter at 50 pounds.
