Wondering when Nyon units are getting the updated maps. There is now a 1yr discrepancy between the web planner and app, and the onboard planner.

Phone app has new maps ,(October 2022) and a new route programming workflow. No news on onboard unit undated.. waiting,,..

It's the bugs that are the bigger issue, like really brain-dead bugs like 1:1 conversion between miles and kilometres. How did that get past test? Was it even tested, or just thrown over the wall? This particular big had been there for a year now, unfixed. Plenty of other bugs also.

Not had any map updates for a year, none of the reported bugs fixed either, radio silence from Bosch support. Feels abandoned to me. They have moved on to their "smart" system, which feels like the smart choice to avoid, if their previous support is anything to go by.

Perhaps you need to be asking yourself what you are doing wrong?

That's my experience also. iPhones are pretty bad when it comes to working with non-Apple kit. My Google Pixel 5 works well with the Nyon bluetooth, my Bluetooth HR also works fine. Perhaps wait for the Apple Ebike? I'm sure it will work perfectly, and further lock you into the Apple ecosystem.

The lock function is broken. It often unlocks, relocks and unlocks (some sort of retry mechanism). Always worked perfectly before be firmware, now very hit and miss. (20% of the time) Sometimes after unlocking the motor has no drive, or very minimal drive. I need to change mode and back again...

I'm disappointed by my Nyon. The latest v3.0 software is rather buggy, and it's not been followed up by any bugfix by Bosch. I do wonder if they have lost interest and focusing on this week's new ebike system..

Bosch service is really really poor. They give the illusion of of support, however I have several tickets open that they never responded to, just delete. I suspect someone is working from home and doing sweet FA and hoping nobody notices... open tickets that never got a single response from...

Along with the total absence of any replies from their support team. They have established their market position, and now don't need to offer user support, or long term product support.
