    Superdelite engine jerk when kicking-in

Hello everyone, I have recently serviced my SD after 1200Km for a checkup. The man updated the engine firmware to latest version. About one week after this, my engine does an annoying "twitch" when kicking-in. No no noise at all. Never happened before. I am sure this is not due to the firmware...

Laptop in pannier on daily usage - Possible damages due to micro vibrations

BTW, I didn't tell you that the my bike has a suspended rear rack, with reduced transmission of shocks

Correct! Don't know why I took it for granted 😇

Pannier or backpack for city travelling?

I don't know what is the regular one, but my model was shipped with the first one showed above in the OP. While the look of this model is sleek, it has the huge disadvantage of being attached to the (tilting) swingarm. I opted for (free) replacement with the other model. Ugly, but effective

Pannier or backpack for city travelling?

A rear rack attached to the swingarm will get 100% of the shock, whilst the one attached to the bike frame will get a reduced shock, as this will be partially mitigated by the shock absorber.

Laptop in pannier on daily usage - Possible damages due to micro vibrations

Yes, the new laptop will be very light and could be easily carried in a backpack. I am sure this would be the best shock absorbing solution, but the pannier was purchased as a solution to avoid backpacks! As a side note, my pannier had never detached from the back rack in almost two months...

Laptop in pannier on daily usage - Possible damages due to micro vibrations

I was thinking about that too. To be honest I am riding very slowly in offroad track, but I was mostly concerned about vibrations

Laptop in pannier on daily usage - Possible damages due to micro vibrations

Hello everyone, I am thinking about upgrading my good old laptop to a newer high end model, however I am bit worried about carrying the laptop everyday (16km on road with 800m offroad) in my rear pannier, as I am afraid that micro shocks and vibrations might damage mainboard soldering in the...

Is there any Bosch computer for our bikes that shows the temperature? If not, what device would recommend for this?

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

As I wrote, I keep it low because a very loose tuning helps my back from hard shocks. I am aware that all this increases chances that a pedal strike occurs, but we have to admit that Superdelite pedal position is lower than usual!

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

I dont get this, the pedals thickness seems to be identical to the original ones... Where is the trick?!

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

You could never describe in a better way the scenario. I have set my suspensions to a very soft position to prevents too many shocks to my back, and this is the price to pay! Will definitely aim for a good compromise between comfort and security. Thanks to all for your considerations!

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

While keeping the inward pedal high is quite natural in a high speed curve, it's harder to concentrate pedalling avoiding bumps in off-road conditions, of course it requires a bit concentration, something that at 55yrs seems to be lowering 🙃

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

To be honest, mine are very soft

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Ah, ok so it's "by design". Yes, I will definitely avoid pedalling when bending in a turn and keeping the internal pedal lifted, and... try to spot bumps when on offroad! Thanks Something like this

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Mostly when the bike is in vertical position (not leaned over), but there's a slight bump close to the pedal, it will hit. In the image below, the lower pedal positions seems to be in a safe position, while the SD seems to be suffering....
