We shall see where the future leads Specialized----8% layoffs

Who is to know, quite frankly, there is a lot of stagnant/dead-wood, know nothing associates, so if they get rid of those....we'll all be much better off.

We shall see where the future leads Specialized----8% layoffs

Hopefully, one of the positive aspects is that maybe they will fire that A-Hole Nathan in "Rider-I-Don't-Care"....life will be so much better without him! :)

Factory Reset on the Mastermind TCD

Out of curiosity, what is to be gained from the reset by performing the action as specified if you are the original owner vs. if you are a 2nd owner of the bike? What type of info is it that is retained that is being reset?

Factory Reset on the Mastermind TCD

Saw this, and sharing, (on a Facebook group) Mastermind TCD goes crazy........ I was out for a ride on my Turbo Vado 5.0 with IGH over the weekend when the bike went loopy. Not sure what I did, but for some reason, the fastest I could go was 6MPH (10KPH). Didn't matter what assist level was...

My 2022 Vado 5.0 is running GREAT!

I just hit 3,000 miles since I got my Vado 5.0 on June 4th this year and it is running like a Swiss watch!

    Specialized Vado 4.0 - Beware

On my Vado 5.0, I usually set Mission Control'Smart' setting to anywhere between 25 to 50 miles, and never worry about having enough to ride. Very rarely do I ever need to use Turbo.

    2018 Vado 6.0 reliability concerns?

So, being a fussy perfectionist, I asked the LBS to research the serial number of the acquired Vado 4.0. The spec sheet shows: Specialized TCD-W w/ handlebar remote & built-in anti-theft feature, Bluetooth® connectivity, 5 available display pages So....I should be golden!! The...

    2018 Vado 6.0 reliability concerns?

Awsome!. Now that I see the process, even though I could do it, I'd rather pay the dealer to do it. Now, all I have to do is get the bike to the LBS down there and hopefully have it done by March 1st. Thank you for the link, fantastic find.

    2018 Vado 6.0 reliability concerns?

I also, recently got a 2019 Vado 4.0 to use in Florida while on vacation(s). 147 miles, $1,400, flawless condition. Being sight unseen, I may (or most likely will not) be in for any surprises. But to be proactive, I did pickup the BLOKS to TCD-w conversion kit, so in the event, it is needed, I...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Ugggh...maybe, just maybe, they could offer an offset to apply to a new 2022 or 2023 Vado? It might be worth the effort.

Experience Thread: A noobie getting into a specialized vado 5.0 IGH

Looks like an absolute killer bike! Good luck. I do see it is sold with the carbon belt and Rohloff hub....you did not get that one?

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

So, as a follow-up specific to this thread...I've done several rides since the new firmware was installed (well over 100+ miles) and the "feelings" have either been absorbed by my brain or are non-existent as initially described. If anything, very similar or maybe a tad better than before...

Experience Thread: A noobie getting into a specialized vado 5.0 IGH

I am 100% in agreement with 'dynamic'. Spot on. Having had 2 Vado 5.0 IGH's and returned them both within 30 days, and having had nightmare experiences, I too agree it's way too early to put these IGH models in service. Regardless of the parts being around for a while, in use by other...

HANDLEBAR REMOTE on 2022 Vado & Como

So, I've not addressed this with the LBS as of yet, I will very soon, however, as having been faced with an identical issue (of the nature of those "push" buttons), this YouTube video shows a similar 'fix' for a button/switch (similar to the handlebar switch having the issue). To jump around...
