How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

I would get a ton of complaints on multi-use paths. I’m fine with not having it on all the time. There’s no “right” way IMO.

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

Perhaps the regulation posted above by Stefan permitting “activated” applies only to the slower bikes. Either that or RM decided “always on, regardless, for speed peddlers.” Alles klar.

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

No. If activated is permitted by the regulation you posted, then some entity must change the setting, no? Perhaps you are saying this is solely at the discretion of the manufacturer, so the dealer is forbidden to override the manufacturer. I feel we are dancing on the head of a pin here.

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

Where is the confusion? I will say that the software allows this configuration in the US is not a Propel-specific miracle. squaxor states that his dealer claims to not have access to this option in software. Either Bosch has made it unavailable For European dealers or RM has specifically...

Assistance performance reduces as battery drains

I pulled a report last time I was at the dealer. I was unhappy to learn that the battery operating temp had hit somewhere around 120F at some time. Pretty sure it was a day so hot and sunny that my iPad went into thermal protection mode. I was touring, so there was no retreat possible. I do...

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

Yes, I imagine that the option in (BOSCH) software to override the default setting is available in US-versioned tools and removed from European versions. That said, the bike is spitting out messages with settings continuously (which is how the Bosch software intercepts system status). That...

If you export your Komodo route as .gpx and upload into Bosch Connect, you should see it.

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

This must be Europe-only bc I had this overridden to be user-adjustable. Other settings in software include always on (default) and always off (!).

Low Battery Cutout for Bosch Gen4?

Yes, this helps tremendously, esp since I’ve never dropped below 20% available capacity and have no idea about what might happen below 5%.

Low Battery Cutout for Bosch Gen4?

William, just want to double-check. If Kiox indicates 64%, this is 64% of total capacity. As a concrete example, for a PowerPack, it would be 0.64*13.6*36 Wh, irrespective of what is withheld for permanent and adjustable reserves?

Low Battery Cutout for Bosch Gen4?

Aah, so that 10% is specific to the non-negotiable reserve + E-shift. Good to know that but I’ve been assuming the E-shift consumption < lights and ignoring it anyway, haha. I’ll add that the light reserve you are setting appears to be set aside exclusively for this purpose. Still, at the lower...

Low Battery Cutout for Bosch Gen4?

Correct me if I should go back and re-read the thread! I am under the impression from the early posts that the batteries have a non-negotiable 10% reserve. I subtracted 10% of each battery’s capacity To arrive at 1302.5Wh total. Now there’s the reserve that’s configurable to keep the lights and...

Low Battery Cutout for Bosch Gen4?

Hey Mike, I’d look at it this way. Each Bosch battery: 13.6Ah x 36V = 482.4 Wh/pack 3Packs: 1447.2 Wh Less (10%) reserve: 1302.5 Wh. M99 Mini pro 25 @6V. 5.2W (low beam). 8W (high beam) 2hrs on high beam = 16W You get 1256.5 Wh. - don’t spend it all in one place. Note that the light (at...

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

I see, the “auto-on” is still leaving you with 10-15s gaps, though. Any feel for how often that might be happening? I recall now that when I researched it, I passed bc I was told it cuts out a lot. Might be a different story where you are. How far are you going? That’s an interesting story...

Exactly. Life is about trade-offs. I look forward to bumping into you on the road and checking out your set-up. Who knows? You might find something you like about my Bosch set-up. Could happen.
