There is no mounting points anywhere on the downtube. I did get extra connections when I purchased the cell. I'm sure someone with proper know how can add it to the downtube. I would like a better solution but so far this one is working for now.

I added a rear cut down wire basket to my rack, used velcro straps so the long integrated battery sits firmly in place. Added also a bungee net.
