Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

The gritty dust from the gravel roads is Nasty. It gets everywhere and grinds away at every moving part that it gets into. They spray the roads down with liquid potassium (and/or calcium) chloride solution to keep the dust down, then the dusty grit is corrosive too. I dealt with this for a...

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

Yeah... and 50 hours is a load of crap too. I've been lucky with 5000mi and no blowouts.. but I'm also good about keeping it clean. I also lube the "male" shaft about twice a month with Slickoleum. Nothing worse than trying to put it in dry on a sandy beach.

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

I'm not having an issue getting my tire to the desired pressure but if you are.. it's the air chuck you are using. Ones with a bleed button make things easy. Alternatively... Fill the tire 1 psi heavy and then use a digital guage with a bleed button to be dead_on_balls accurate.

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

Well I do know first hand and I also know that the only crap here is what you are spewing. A double wall rim is not exotic... so you can get over yourself. My point is that I have never seen nor heard of any rim failing at the valve hole. So your precieved need for Presta is imagined.

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

Yes because an air valve is under the same stress as a tensioned spoke

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

They must come with some type of certificate or diploma as that's your default answer to everything you know. So do they drop that on the floor so you have to bend over and pick it up... Or is that only with the bill of sale?

The only purpose of PRESTA valve is to fit a thin road racing rim. ps... Presta valves cost the same as Schrader so unless you have a real need no one buys them other than the easily fooled. The ebike gods have smiled on me — the water heater gods, yes and no.

Everybody has to eat... but yeah 9k for a water heater is criminal considering they use much of the same materials and don't cost that much more if any to manufacturer. You're paying more than a premium for the efficiency factor. I try to buy as efficient as possible but often it doesn't make...
