    Bafang Bluetooth app

I prefer a giant mid mount display with separate buttons easily manipulated blindly mounted near the grip... But hey, there is no wrong when it comes to personal preference. Just make sure you have a USB to what ever port you have on your phone adapter as well to work with the programing...

    Bafang Bluetooth app

That's one way... Yes. But personally I hate the tiny buttons and display on the eggrider. Plus sometimes it can be buggy. But honestly I haven't touched mine in years. I find the SPEEED App and a cable easier though perhaps a bit more cumbersome to repeatedly set up. I purchased a display...

Looking For A Full Suspension Skinny Tire Step Through Commuter

Not sure how your hub is set up but many hub drives don't have a variable output throttle which allows for very nuanced and controlled output. Not how I use my throttle at all. It's not about getting up to speed quickly most of the time... it's about being able to have low PAS to high PAS...

    Bafang Bluetooth app

They have been but the Bluetooth feature never caught on and has been a terd from day one. There's a rider on here who has the latest model of their top of the line mid drive/display and he's never been able to make any use of it. So I'd forget about it working with a BBS* add on kit model for now.

Looking For A Full Suspension Skinny Tire Step Through Commuter

Say you. Yes high level of assist can be in some instances close to throttle... But it's not the same. Again.. many ways to skin a cat but what makes you think your way is the right way or the only way? You just don't know nor want to know what the difference is. This is especially true with...

Looking For A Full Suspension Skinny Tire Step Through Commuter

And there you have it. More necessary in some instances than others but always a plus to have and there is absolutely no downside to having it even if you don't use it much or at all. My throttle use is less than 0.01% of any ride in distance and time. But I'll never own a bike without one. Then...

    Bafang Bluetooth app

From what I understand it's not ready for prime time. I would put it on hold and see if 2025 brings any improvement

From what I understand it's not very useful and asks for more than what should be necessary permissions. But here you go.... Bafang Go

Winter is coming: how do I protect the battery?

Actually I believe it was your granny... and she taught me many things 😜 Not what I said... Never the less... the information is available to everyone Again this information came from your granny... She seems to know everything about swallowing. Not what I said at all... Reading...

Winter is coming: how do I protect the battery?

On the cold ride out you definitely used more capacity than normal. The battery can recover some if warmed.. but won't recover all that was already lost on the cold ride out. Yes a little loss over time alone is expected... but not enough to reduce it to a total of 140 cycles before failure...

Winter is coming: how do I protect the battery?

I'll add every rechargeable battery I've ever owned of any chemistry and for any purpose the instructions have always stated to allow a recently used battery to rest/cool before charging. Obviously this is more critical with high ambient and operating temperatures, but I don't think it to be...

Cold (ish) Battery Charging Cumulative Damage?

It's going to be impossible for anyone to answer this for you as Harry said... It depends on the cells used. But Foof' gave you good advice and your 2amp charger should be fine as that's reasonably low current. You're also following the manufacturer recommendation, so don't sweat it.

$10 DIY Smart Charger Alternative / Ver. 2.0

I do have a 60v/5A desktop power supply... but mostly use it for testing. I have used it a handful of times to charge but find it a bit cumbersome. Settings can drift over days so you should double check all before each charge. Since I typically start early in the morning before coffee, its back...

    Ultra Chainring Swap?

Ahh... That's easier to guesstimate. Maybe so... But a 50mi test ride would confirm fit and guesstimate

    Ultra Chainring Swap?

Silly rabbit.... that's why I suggested the inexpensive Ali' ring so that you can test fit it and sample your gearing need. I thought I wanted a 46t, but after a hundred miles I knew 44t would be a better fit for me. I hope you don't go thru all this and it ends up it's too big. 40t to 48t is a...

    Rear brake lost all pressure

2022 isn't brand new but 150 mi isn't much at all. I think I would still start with a lever bleed since you aren't showing any signs of a leak. It's 30 minutes and a few ml of fluid at worst. Eliminate the common and easy first.

    Ultra Chainring Swap?

Making some assumptions here.... BCD for both is 5 bolt /130 spacing. From the other photo the offset looks to be in the spider which also makes sense from a manufacturing perspective.
