What bike you will pick as a first e-mtb? Turbo Levo carbon comp 2025 vs Turbo levo 2025 vs Turbo levo SL comp 2025 with new genie shock

Alloy is a way more reliable. In case of the carbon frame it sometimes takes a single piece of rock shooting from under your wheel, hit the frame and there is a damage. Just saying. A single pebble hit this CF fork, and not only the paint fell off but also the carbon fiber got 'dissected'...

Genie is for experts. Electronic shifting is a nice thing but not a must. Neither of these features will make you a better cyclist 😊 The full power Levo is the Specialized flagship and it is greatly developed. One of the best electric mountain bikes to have. Now. While Tero 5.0 is equipped...

What bike you will pick as a first e-mtb? Turbo Levo carbon comp 2025 vs Turbo levo 2025 vs Turbo levo SL comp 2025 with new genie shock

@Slayer2ez: Here are some answers. Do not go for Tero 3.0. It has a relatively weak motor as for a heavy e-bike; it also has a smaller 530 Wh battery; a waste of money I'd say. Your best buy would be a Tero 5.0 if you can buy it: excellent equipment, very strong motor (565 W), a big battery...

What bike you will pick as a first e-mtb? Turbo Levo carbon comp 2025 vs Turbo levo 2025 vs Turbo levo SL comp 2025 with new genie shock

It is not possible. The only way is to derestrict the e-bike with a mechanical or electronic device. I think you know nothing of bikes in general and e-bikes in particular. Have you ever ridden a mechanical (traditional) mountain bike (MTB)?

Do you really need to torque a through axle?

@Chargeride: I have consulted my brother. First of all, there is a nut on the opposite side of the fork. The position of the nut is set and fixed by a little screw. The position is selected the way the axle's handle points up whenever the threads have fully engaged. Now, the handle is a clamp...

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

They are a tad wider than the bike rim. There are no forces where the shock valve is installed.

Winter riding on the Zen Photon.

On February 1st, 2021, I set off for a ride on my Giant Trance E+ (FS e-MTB, 2.6" tyres) to a nearby town. It was icy at -6 C. When I restarted my ride on an intersection, I violently crashed; I was on black ice. Beaten, I rode home and immediately ordered a set of ISPs. As soon as I could ride...

Please read me carefully because I will be very short: You will not be able to buy a 32 km/h or 45 km/h Specialized or Cube e-bike wherever in Europe, Union or outside. It is 25 km/h, full stop. 32 km/h e-bikes are only available in the U.S. and Canada, the 45 km/h e-bikes can only be bought in...

Your location reads Europe. It is 25 km/h in the EU. Before I could give you more answers please confirm you intend to ride almost 100% off-road, on technical mountain singletracks.

Install automobile hydraulic disk brakes on a bicycle then. A parallel. Many of you guys think the bicycle industry engineers do not know what they're doing. But they do.

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

I can precisely see how the fat Schrader valve occupies the whole real estate. Schrader is for lamers.

Do you really need to torque a through axle?

I don't really know what your issue was. I had stock QR thru-axles on Giant Trance E+. Undoing and re-tightening them was extremely easy. The handles were always pointing up after tightening the axle. Now I can remember the handles were not clamps! Just handles. It was possible because the part...

Do you really need to torque a through axle?

This axle only fits certain hubs. Not for a Vado SL for sure (F: 12x110 mm front, R: 12x148 mm).

Have a look at a modern MTB rim for 2.6" tyres.

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

The width of the rim at the inner edge is so narrow that a Schrader valve would take most of the space... Educate yourself. I suggest starting with a purchase of a good e-bike.
