    I have just seen this video on the Xterrain500 and I think immense tire size is meant to give a lot of surface area and therefore a load of float to the bike. I know fatbikes are capable of going in all sorts of terrains like sand and deep snow, but the Xterrain 500 is the first one to offer...

    yeah that would be fun! being able to ride on sand and even deep snow! have you ridden on all-terrain bikes? I think Xterrain500 is the first fat bike with such a large front wheel!
