    Mid-drive or Hub motor

I'd like to see the pros and cons of each, especially regarding longevity and reliability. Is the trend toward more mid-drive motors ? Sorry, I see there is a thread already. Feel free to delete.

Q: If I restrict my Class 3 to 20mph is it now a Class 1?

If it has a throttle, I don't think it will be a class one.

Converting Class 1 eBike to Class 3 eBike

I don't know the trail access situation in Germany, but those types of devices are going to create problems in the U.S. for those of us trying to get class one pedal-assist access on mountain bike trails.

Shift gears or raise and lower levels

I I have basically the same question, except I'm usually alternating between power off and Level one. Yesterday in rolling terrain, I was constantly hitting power on/power off and it occurred to me that I might be better off minimizing my assist level button and do more shifting. I tend to get...

    Best dual-suspension trail bike...

I think the general concsensus is that the best class I emtb out there is the Pivot Shuttle at $10,000; but if you are talking best bike for the money, I think Easy Motion Atoms are going to be in the conversation. Maybe because I have one...LOL.

How about a sticky for new bike owners ?

I put a down payment on a 2017 Easy Motion Atom Lynx 6 27.5, sight unseen from a shop 600 miles away and I'm gonna pick it up. It was the last one, so that pushed me into making a decision. How crazy is that ? I do have the option to switch, if I don't like it. As far as a $1,000 bike, I'd have...
