Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

It’s working perfectly. I ended up with a piece of black, flat vacuum cleaner belt. Very robust material. Hasn’t even put a dent in it. The piece in the pic above was just to see if it would interfere with anything which it didn’t. Marc

R&M Charger 3 or Delite - decision to make

It's the same situation in the motorcycle world. Try to deal direct with BMW and you get sent back to the dealer who becomes the critical link. Granted, BMW has developed excellent dealers. Conversely, have a problem with a Honda and you'll find most dealers are useless but if you call Honda...

R&M Charger 3 or Delite - decision to make

You didn't read me right. My point was that having the right dealer made all the difference for you. If you had gone with a lesser dealer nothing would have been accomplished. In my case I went with Propel just by happenstance and I'm sure he wields a similar amount of clout giving me confidence...

R&M Charger 3 or Delite - decision to make

Reading this makes me realize how lucky I was to happen to have bought my bike from Chris Nolte at Propel. I think this is one of those cases where it is super critical who you buy from and the influence they wield on the manufacturer. I never researched it beforehand and just happened to visit...

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

There must be various versions of them. Mine is thick rubber and works fine. SD is about 6 months old. Marc

    SuperDelite suspensions pressure!

What works well for me is my weight in psi for the rear and about half my weight for the front to get the right sag. Marc

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Ok, locally we call this a "Mickey Mouse" repair as in, "I moused it" and God only knows how long it will last but it works and only takes a few minutes to do so what the hell. You'll need a 2.5 mm hex driver and an O-Ring. I used a 21/32" x 13/32" x 1/8" because I had one but there might be a...

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Just to confirm, I removed the kickstand and took the bike over some cobblestones and its completely silent. The stand is in fact the culprit. It doesn't look like it would be too difficult to fix. The over-center spring inside that holds it open and closed doesn't have a whole lot of tension...

Charging iPhone while riding via USB port on Kiox

Worked perfect for me. iPhone XR and Nyon. I rode the other day with Google maps and Spotify running in the foreground and a bunch of stuff in the background and it charged enough to keep the battery about even. Marc

I have about 1100 miles with at least 50% left. Hardly any hills here though. Marc

    Superdelite 2020 turning degrees

Mine turns lock to lock the same in both directions. Seems to me this subject came up once before and there's a thread about it. Found it! Here Go to post #25 where the discussion starts. Nope, no good. That's a different setup for a different model bike. I'll bet Chris Nolte knows. Marc

Vario vs Rohloff on Superdelite with GX option on steep fire roads/trails

I have about 1000 miles on my 2020 SD with Rohloff now. I don't need to pause when shifting up or down, I simply continue to spin but relax the pressure for about a 1/2 second and the shift is made cleanly. The only time I've had trouble is shifting down below 8th at a standstill. On more than...
