SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

This surely has been discussed before but it is such a shame that R&M insists on using this type of business model that totally insulates them from interaction with their customers. In relying primarily on their local sellers and email, many problems that could be simply and quickly taken care...

SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

So I measured the distance between the tensioner and the black convex piece. It is about 3.5 mm. And yours? Marc

SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

Mine is the same, maybe 1-2 mm clearance. Is it possible to take a picture from above showing the backside of the spider and the shaft where it enters the motor? I measured from the edge of the belt to the frame at the spot in the photo and it is exactly 10 mm. Can you measure yours?

SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

If you want to post some additional pictures from various positions I will compare them to mine if that helps. I'm sure if we had the bikes side by side we'd find it pretty fast. Marc

SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

Here is a picture of my spider. Other than Rev it looks to be the same. I don't know what that B is that is on yours. Mine doesn't have it. Just curious if you checked the motor mounting bolts. Maybe the motor has shifted? Don't even know if that's possible. Marc

SuperDelite 2020 Rohloff HS Issues & Support

I was just comparing my bike to yours re: the sprocket hitting the tensioner. Mine has quite a bit of clearance between them, about 2-3 mm just eyeballing it. I wonder if your losing the belt and this problem are related ie: an alignment issue. Assuming the tensioner was manufactured to spec...

Stock Suntour vs Fox Float 34 Forks

Just an update: I finished the Fox 34 install yesterday. The difference is obvious, much more compliant which is what I was looking for. Fox doesn't supply the ebike specific fork with 100 mm of travel only 120 mm, so I had to change the air assembly in order to get the correct travel. It was...

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Yup, found it. This adapts the progression curve in eMTB mode and also offers increased support in Tour mode, offering maximum power up-hill. Marc

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Surprise for me as well. I would imagine it only applies to bikes with eMTB mode but the description doesn't specify. New Update For Short eMTB Crank Arms Most riders run regular length cranks (170-175mm) but on an eMTB you tend to tackle harder climbs and the electric mountain bike allows you...

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

No, it wouldn't. Computer keeps track of cadence among other things which isn't affected by the crank arm length. Marc

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

It has no effect on the gear ratio but it will decrease the pedal speed, ie: how fast your feet move and therefore will increase your effort in a given gear. Marc
