    Firmware Update for Vado SL

Yes, local bike shop. Good luck. Just for reference I have had my bike since January and this is the first update I have noticed in the app and I will not be making a special trip to the get the update even though it is only 15 minutes away.

    Firmware Update for Vado SL

Given the version numbers they are probably minor bug fixes. Unless you are having problems you may want to wait until there is some user feed back on the firmware updates or you have to go back to the LBS for something else.

Vado SL 4.0 - How much off road?

Still running the Vado SL stock with the exception of new pedals. It is a little rough but the future shock does help a little. If I was 20 or 30 years younger it would be much easier. The trail is quite chunky, after recent rains it also has a lot of ruts. With the right tires I think the...

Vado SL 4.0 - How much off road?

I also went through the decision process between the Vado SL and the Powerfly 4. In my case more than 90% of my riding would be on roads and paved and groomed trails specifically my city trail system, which is fairly extensive. The ride from my house to the paved trails include a half mile...

    Vado SL EQ taillight relocation

I have also been looking at changing the seat post on my Vado SL 5.0. Is there any reason why I should not just drill a small hole in seat post for the power wire?

    Vado SL Availability

I purchased my SL 5.0 in mid January after test riding a 4.0 EQ. Your best bet is to check out the Specialized website and look for anything nearby in your size or even a size that kind of works for a test ride. Once you are sure the SL is for you broaden your search and be prepared for a road trip.

    Cleaning Vado SL Brushed Aluminum

That sounds like a fast easy method. The brushed aluminum is strange in that it doesn‘t appear to have a top coat but has a texture. I really am not a fan but got a good deal on the bike,

I've decided on a Turbo Vado -- now how do I get one?

Yes it was the one on Parmer. Austin is a big bike city, I‘m sure it won‘t be long before Specialized gets another retailer.

I've decided on a Turbo Vado -- now how do I get one?

I actually purchased my Vado SL 5 from that bike shop in Austin the weekend they were closing. Suggest calling the closest shop to you and ask when they can get one for you.
