Creo SLE evo @ 18 months

100% after 18 months and 177 full cycles is great, especially for a small and internal battery. Range or your "feeling of range" also confirms the 100%?

How gnarly can you get on an Expert Creo before it breaks?

And for me, not my kind of video style. I can't follow this "I'm the coolest guy in the world" more than two minutes. Also I don't see much information, at least not in this videao, it could be 20% of the length without losing information... I started with light gravel bike with 35mm and a soft...

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

I have to add, all this refers to our european 25km/h limit with ridiculous obstacles for 45km/h ebikes. As a good assist drive like SL or Fazua is still fine to ride over 25km/h, it's sometimes an acceptable alternative here for a 45km/h (just slower, but lighter and more agile). Other 25km/h...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I read somewhere in a bike test, that they measured about 1watt more resistance at the pedals/cranks of a SL bike than a normal bike with a good bottom bracket has. I will sell my Creo! Today!

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

Neither me... But you started it. Or I just overinterpreted it as "See how much further my Vado gets than your Stromer?"... ;-) There are even longer rides possible without any motor and without limits. ;-) Have you seen that I wrote exactly this in my previous post? Btw if you ask me today...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Good/bad to hear, as I was thinking of a Vado SL if a really good offer for a used one passes by. L is definitely to small for me, but so XL would be too big (as my XL Creo is already slighty too big).

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

Stefan you get what you pay for. The Stromer is not to heavy or not too thirsty for it's purpose. Neither are the normal Vado or Vado SL/Creo bad or slow ebikes. My ride to work would be about 10% faster with the Stromer than with the normal vado (as this was also the difference to my S-Bosch)...

Specialized Creo (all models) - Longest Rides/Biggest Climbs

I think I could do 118mi with 8000ft, but all my batteries (internal one of the Creo and my "internal" one) would be very empty for quite a while... I couldn't do it with only 100Wh in one day.

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

That's a great resume of my two usages... ;-) And it shows, that each ebike type has it's use, there not the one and only for everything. My Stromer is a terrible tank (about twice the weight of my Creo), terrible to ride offroad or without motor. And I already need 320Wh for 10-12 miles. But...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

What is your size on the Vado SL? Creo and Vado Sl sizes are not exactly the same. I tried once for some miles a "L" Vado SL and it felt much to small while the Creo in L was accetable for me. But you can't really copy this to size M as Creo comes in six sizes, Vado SL only in four, so the...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

For me it was almost the oppoite. My Orbea Terra was a little bit too small for me as the step to the next size was very big. Also the dealer told my, ALL hist customers about my height ride this frame. And as the larger frame wasn't there at that time, I never tried the larger one. My Creo was...

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

Stefan, we have ALL these rules as well, I just hadn't the time to mention all of them... And about the brake levers, our 45km/h s-peledecs need to be equipped with brake levers with balls at the need like the ones of motor cycles to avoid squeezed hands or fingers in a crash.🤪 Don't mess with...

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

Apart from the handle bar this looks really MTB-like. Or a mixture between MTB and gravel. As you can find sometimes cheap used Vado SL here in winter, I was already thinking of buying a used 4.0 non-EQ to convert it to an MTB hardtail with a good suspension fork. As there are almost no light...

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

Your legs are not standard Stefan. And your strange friends aren't normal... ;-) I'm bored even with a 25km/h Creo among most of my cycling friends which are all experienced (allday and tour) riders, not athletes. If I would participate in the Hawai training of the triatlon club in our next big...

This Cairn has a Shimano E7000 Stefan, and the Cairn Fazua model is also much more expensive.

Need opinions from Creo and Vado SL riders

I almost fulfilled this age when buying my Creo. But I've to disagree with the rest. I never had a race bike when I was younger and started with drop bars with a gravel bike when I was more than 48. I was very happy about this (for me) new bike category. It offered me a significantly faster bike...

    E-bike Guru?

I like it! We should check if your wife and mine have the same grandgrandgrandparents... A surprisingly long video for an ad. But fine to tell the story and the progress.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Allan there's no doubt for me, that a Creo is usually faster than a Vado SL, everything else would be very surprising. My question was, is the Vado SL slower/more "chewing gum" without motor compared to similar "organic" trekking bike than the Creo is to a "organic" race or gravel bike. My...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

So you think I may feel the electric drive with motor off or over 25km/h as well more "chewing gum/rubber band" on the Vado SL as I would depend more on the motor/ride less time over 25? Hmm, maybe. But as I said, I did already some tours with motor permanently off but quite some height meters...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

But you have the same air drag on a normal/organic bike as well!? But maybe you're right, that someone who is slower and not often riding over 25km/h and so mostly using the motor support looses the feeling for riding without support and riding only rarely without motor then blaims the electric...
