I don’t know why you are afraid that the Creo/the SL drive will not survive longer steep uphills? This is normally the case with small hub motors (so I’m quite surprised that khan preferred that motor over the Creo). Most (all?) middle motors are able to climb almost unlimited strong uphills...

The question is not if it's 15.5/16.5/17.5mph. 28mph ebikes are allowed in most countries in Europe. But the rules also for the bikes/producers are so strict in some countries (like in Germany), that it's not possible to ride any "foreign" 28mph ebike in any country. A 28mph Creo would not...

Great, now I know that around 48-50mm would enter in my Creo when going to 650B! I wouldn't ride any longer this way with 54mm, not even with stickers/protection. I did this on my hardtail MTB with even more space left and even with protective stickers it rubbed away the paint of the lower tubes...

My main complaints about the Nimbus are the weight (together with 213g tube!) and the dangerous profile for unpaved paths (wet or dry, both are terrible with the Nimbus). It's a pure and heavy road tire but not an allrounder. G-One Allround is good&fast but the profile is gone in a few hundres...
