Inserted seat post ~50% in. This has more to do with metallurgy vs user error IMO. 6061 Al is used for frame and my bet is they receive 6061 with T6 temper in raw tube stock. Then weld, then paint. I doubt they return completed frame to the oven to do the T6 temper. That’s what the crack is at...- Townsebike2024

Crack developed tight at weld/base metal interface 1 month after warranty expired (1 year). Purchased in August 2023. Customer Service offered $100 towards purchase of a new bike.- Townsebike2024
