    No not true you can remove Vado bikes battery and charge on or off the bike.

    your best bet is to start calling bike shops around where you leave i just looked up and it says nothing avalable in any sizes on the Spicailized Web site.. good luck

    have you put the SL bike up for sale yet, I would most likely try out or Demo the Creo first to make sure that is what you want and look to see if the LBS has the last year model or a demo bike that you can buy to save some cash. You can sell the Vado SL but your going to take little loss but...

    I had a Vado 5.0 its great bike i removed the fenders and put on mountain bike tires on it to ride trails it was great bike i have moved on to Vado SL. good luck you will love it

    i use a Kuate Sherpa 2.0 and works great for me but i ride a Specialized Turbo Vado & vado Sl. The rack weight limit is 90 t0 100lb

    If you were me, which Turbo Vado SL would you buy?

    I am 5'11 and ride the large Sl 4.0 you would be ok with either size just try both and see witch one fits you better if you are going to remove the fenders don't buy the EQ.

    I had a Sirrus Comp. Top of the line bike before my SL 4.0 EQ and it was a great bike just think of SL as Sirrus with small motor on it to help you go littel farther and faster that is why I switched

    i agree with others here if you think about it brand new with warranty just incase but SL 5.0 that is good deal you can run a motor and battery check on the mission control and check for soft wear # ride the bike to see if there are any issues with it
