Ok, so I narrowed it down, but still need help please.....

Thank you. Wow, that is a good looking bike. But is a 500w motor 'good enough'? I feel all bikes now have a 750w or 1000w. Like if I were to take on some crazy hill, will 500w do the trick? Forgive my ignorance on all this. As for tires, I like the look/feel/stability of fat tires. But I...

Great, I will watch these. And yes, I have heard elsewhere that a torque sensor with a mid drive is better suited for the exercise I need. Hopefully the videos will explain the 'why'. Thanks again!

Ok, so I narrowed it down, but still need help please.....

I am back online (was in the hospital for a bit) and have narrowed down my first ebike choices (from previous posts): 1) Biktrix Juggernaut Classic (https://www.biktrix.com/pages/juggernaut-classic-details) 2) Biktrix Juggernaut HD (https://www.biktrix.com/pages/juggernaut-classic-hd-details)...

Hi all, Thanks for the comments and opinions. Sorry I haven't replied. I've been dealing with health stuff still (in/out of the hospital). I am doing OK now and am back to bike hunting. I've narrowed it down to the Biktrix Juggernaut Classic or HD. BUT, Bolton released a new step thru bike...

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hi, thank you. Yes, I figured as much about the MXS after reviewing the standover height and measuring myself. Not gonna work. =( So now that's 3 down that I finally made my mind up on, but cannot buy. Oh well. On to the next. So, what bike(s) are you thinking for me, if any stand out? Best, Tasha

Help choosing an ebike for mountain roads

Congrats! I, too, am leaning toward a Sondors, but the MXS model. Though I also like the Biktrix Juggernaut Classic. Price wise, they're only a couple hundred apart. Now I just need to choose, and we all know the pains of that. Haha! Anyway, enjoy your new ride (when it comes in). =)

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hi, Well, we have some paved/gravel/dirt trails in my area, so mainly on those. And of course the streets to get there. But if I take the bike on trips, like to Tahoe, then yea, it would be more hill/woodsy like rides. But overall, it's mostly going to be an every day bike for fun, adventures...

I don't mind the look of the battery. At least it makes the bike different than others out there, ya know? As for the freewheel, can you explain more on that? I'm not too familiar with the 'goods and bads'. I do know people are disappointed it's only a 7 speed for a mtn bike.

Update: I am really, really leaning toward the Sondors MXS. It's the most decent all around one I've found that meets what I'm looking for. The different look (triangle battery) is sorta cool, too. I can get it with the fenders and rear rack $2147 (including shipping and tax). I wish it had...

I saw that, thank you. It's a super good deal for sure. I just wish it had the 750w motor. But my GF wants an ebike, too, so this may be a good choice for her as she isn't all about the specs the way I am. Haha! She seems to like the Rad Rover step thru, though. We'll see. For me, even though I...

Hi, Thanks for the recommendation. Those look pretty nice, actually. If the Sport had a 750w motor and a little thicker tires, I'd go for one. But still, they seem like a good deal. I live in the South Bay, btw. So it would be more trail riding vs hills like SF has. Maybe some small ones...

*I posted in the general forum before I noticed this section* My name is Tasha and I'm in search of an ebike. I've been researching all there is to know (it seems) and I still cannot make up my mind on what bike to purchase. I need to pull the trigger on one soon as shipping times are already...

Help choosing an ebike for mountain roads

Same with me. =( I went to buy the Bolton Blackbird and it sold out (while in my cart, ready to click buy). And get this, it happened to me twice! So now I am back to possibly getting the Sondors MXS. Or maybe the RR5. Or maybe the Juiced RCS. Ugh, I dunno! I've been researching for months now...

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hmmm. I didn't think of that really. I am 5'4" and weigh 225lbs. Does that make a lot of difference in the ride? I know there is a weight capacity of 275-300 on most ebikes.

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hi, Thanks for the comment. After reviewing, now I can add Biktrix to my list of choices. Haha! You mentioned the HD, but what do you think about the Juggernaut Classic? Best, Tasha

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hi, Yea, I am liking Sondors more and more. But I've also heard not-so-great things about them. Then again, what reviews don't have some negative to them? I did look at the upcoming mid-drive bikes they have. The Rockstar looks awesome and will be $2500, the top of my budget. But they won't...

Hi all! I'm new here and to ebikes and I need some help.....

Hi, Thanks. Yes I have. I read and read and read and read, plus watched YT videos galore before I even joined EBR. I now just want personal opinions on the choices I've narrowed it down to and the plus/negative to each. I am hoping to find someone similar to me that owns one of the mentioned...
