A 36v 12ah was standard on my Neo Carbon and I have run both 9ah and 12ah without any problems, however I think you may have to upgrade the controller if your bike shipped standard with a 9ah. I have ordered a 48v 9ah as others have experienced a higher speed (but less distance of course)...

12Ah battery came with my Carbon as standard. I don't have blinking on the controller, have I missed something?

Does any one here own a BH Nitro Race (500w brushless motor, 48 V, 9,00 Ah, 432 Wh battery). I'd be interested in experiences/satisfaction with it and any alternate brands that should be considered.
