Realistic mileage for Neo 36v 9amp models

I assume it depends on the country. What I know is that the 2014 models in Australia and Europe shipped with 36v 12ah. 36v is standard for the 350w motor. The 12ah will give you more miles/km between charges. Your son has made a good choice, so far I've covered 1,600km on my carbon and still...

Realistic mileage for Neo 36v 9amp models

A 36v 12ah was standard on my Neo Carbon and I have run both 9ah and 12ah without any problems, however I think you may have to upgrade the controller if your bike shipped standard with a 9ah. I have ordered a 48v 9ah as others have experienced a higher speed (but less distance of course)...

    New Display for 12A battery

12Ah battery came with my Carbon as standard. I don't have blinking on the controller, have I missed something?

    BH Nitro Race

Thanks Peter! I love my Carbon too, but would love a Nitro Race even more :) :)

    BH Nitro Race

Thanks Lenny, that makes sense, I was wondering why there wasn't any current Nitro Race owners already! :) Yesterday a dealer in Europe told me that he expected the Nitro Race around mid April 2015.

    BH Nitro Race

Does any one here own a BH Nitro Race (500w brushless motor, 48 V, 9,00 Ah, 432 Wh battery). I'd be interested in experiences/satisfaction with it and any alternate brands that should be considered.

    Here I go again!

Hey. I lost more bars over same distance for a couple of days, then it went from 3 to 1 over about 5km. Gave out entirely when it reached 1 bar.

Anyone took their ebike in flight?

Ok, I've started a conversation with you, I guess that's right?

Anyone took their ebike in flight?

Hi Peter, I'm serious. Are you based in Europe? Can we PM on this site?

All new BH 2015 models line up.

The Neo Carbon in Australia is much lighter than in the USA as it doesnt have the Suntour SF11 forks - it's ALL carbon, and a tarmac-only beast as well. In Australia a Carbon weighs in at 41.6lbs opposed the USA version 45lbs. Anyway all are good , just wish I could buy a Nitro Race in...

    Neo Cross vs Neo Carbon

That's weird, must be something to do with the specific country config (I'm in Australia where, according to the distributor all Neos stop assisting at 30kmh - around 20mph, and are detuned to 250W to be legal). So in Australia at least, my Carbon is much quicker (both acceleration and top...

Anyone took their ebike in flight?

I've been having the similar thoughts. Flying to Spain to get my hands on a Nitro Race and ship it back to Australia. Unless there is a dealer in Europe that'll do it for me...:D

    Mileage

I was getting a safe 50km (~30 miles) per charge out of my 36v 12ah until recently when the some of the cells screwed up. On that day I certainly earned a beer when I got home after having to ride the 17kg+ bike home without any assist for the last 5km or so... Good news is the Australian BH...

    Here I go again!

I've had three bad faults with my Neo Carbon, think it was built on a Friday afternoon. However and importantly, my dealer and the BH distributor have fixed the bike each time without any hassle at all. The faults were 1/ rear motor hub bearings replaced at about 200km; 2/ crank issues at...

    New Neo Carbon Member ;)

Hi all, I'm new to this forum so thought I'd post some photos of the Neo Carbon I bought a few months ago. I'm based in Sydney Australia and have just clicked over 1,000 commuter kilometres riding about 20km a day over the Sydney harbour bridge into the city and back home each day. This bike...

    Walking mode via Computer?

I have a Carbon in Australia. It has walk assist, but no throttle. Appears that the USA models with throttles don't have it.

    Neo Cross vs Neo Carbon

I It really depends on what you're using the bike for. You will likely always be in the highest gear if you're just commuting, so I wouldn't worry too much about this. The Carbon is much lighter than the Jumper and in my tests is faster commuting (over 1,000km on a Carbon). That said, the...
