That isn't normal. My 4 year old Evelo battery still takes a full charge and gets at least 25 miles in various terrain. Also, the battery shouldn't drain when turned off. Does it also drain when off the bike?

Any chance your bike was a 2016 model? So far, our 2017 Raleigh TransX motor has been fine and the replacement 2017 TransX motor on the 2016 iZip has also given us no problems.

They say with a torque sensor and downshifting it doesn't take much to get going from a stop. I have never ridden with a torque sensor so I can't compare it to a throttle.

Are you using 6v lights? If the lights you mounted require a higher voltage they will most likely not light. You can check the output voltage from the controller at the connector with a volt/ohm meter .

I have ridden a couple of miles in rain (not by choice)more than once. I wiped everything down as soon as possible and haven't had any issues so far.
