    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

OOPS!! A guy just reported on R1U's Facebook page it won't fit on the frame. I gotta wait till I get my700 before I buy anymore stuff. Already have a basket that won't fit, a bike stand that's too flimsy and a torque wrench that won't do all the values.

I took the liberty of posting your advice on R1U's Facebook page. Looks like there are more followers on Facebook than here. It was only 2 days ago that I realized it was so active.

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

Thank you! This looks like a cure. The first time mine jumps, ill order this from Amazon. I can't believe no one else has commented on this solution. Pages and pages of gripes. I sure will try this before I install my Derore derailleur. And to think, I just learned how to spell "derailleur" 😇

Has anyone bought/used a spoke tension tool?

Park has one for $80. I'd probably buy a chinese knockoff for $20. R1U does list the tension for all the spokes. Just wonder if this method is a good way to test tension?

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

Bike man..was there a 27.5 wheel dia. setting? The default is 26. Also I think we should realize we really have a 500 watt motor. Not the advertized1000 watt peak. Most of thr Euro bikes have 250.

Can someone help me with the voltage is please?

The controller can be used with multiple voltage batteries. You should set the controller voltage to the voltage of the battery you're using. In our case it's 48v

What does MECH mean in bike terms?

I did find that site and MECH wasn't in the list. But it means "failure"? I thought it was referring to the chain rings or shifting mechanism

What does MECH mean in bike terms?

I really did do a search on Google and didn't get an answer. Is it slang for "mechanical"? I think it's used when referring to the derrailuer?

How many here are waiting for Sep 15 ship dates?

BikeMan. It's easy to check and fix the spoke tension. Really should get comfortable with the process as it's a normal part of maintenance. I just bought the tool from Amazon. $5

Never mind. I'm going to buy the multi tool. Don't think I'll be using it that much.
