Hi Rod, yes mine was also the 32km version until it was flashed. I also only get 43km but is fast enough for my commute. I have a question regarding removing the cranks. Is it as simple as removing the inner alan nut? I get a small turn before its stops - I didn't want to force it. Cheers Simon.

I have owned the Vado 3 for 8 months and absolutely loved the bike. My advice is if you dont have the ability to service whichever bike you decide on yourself make sure you choose a brand from your LBS as they would have to look after the servicing side. For me the Vado was a great choice.

Yes I commute 11 km to work, can ride all week with out feeling tired on Friday! I have 155 m of gradient on my trip and average 28kmh.

Had my Vado 3.0 now for a couple of months and love the bike. The LBS upgraded the speed and all has been well. I have noticed when the power assist is turned off there is quite a bit of resistance coming from the bike when pedaling, the stronger the pedaling the more resistance. Is this common...
