Percy I have decided to try the bigger rotor router. I'm going to go with 180 mm. I assume this means I have to replace the adapter, in which case can you suggest how I can still go about finding the correct one? Thanks.

Generally speaking the brakes just aren't strong enough for me to feel safe on steep downhill rides. I have replace the pads and now I'm looking at increasing the rotor size.

My display does not give a voltage read out. It is a sub bare-bones arrangement.

Is there a special tool to unplug the connectors on the controllers for the X7?

RMK thanks for the feedback. I did open things up and didn't find any loose wiring. eahora is now saying it's probably a bad sensor. They are sending me out a new one.

It does not happen with throttle only. In fact that's the way I've been riding the bike using the throttle along with pedaling as my "manual" pedal assist. Very disappointing not to be able to use the pedal assist mode which is the way I am a custom to writing these ebikes.

GD, FYI there are options in the settings menu to make the change you asked about in addition to many more. However there is also a warning in red letters not to change any of those settings! So the option is there but apparently you get into it at your own risk. RMK How did you go about...

RMK, I ordered the same bike as you. Have you had any problems with the power cutting off while you're riding with pedal assist? On mine the power keeps dropping out and then coming back on in pedal assist mode.

Great points! I was just looking for some way to re-purpose this very expensive battery rather than just toss it. Recycling is fine but repurposing is better am I right?
