    Cube Nature Hybrid

I have some reports for my Performance Line Gen3 motor on two threads here. I have now done almost 1500km in a few months and the motor and battery is perfect. I am on the 625 battery but the range I get out of it is close to 180km when ridden my usual way, on ECO mode and with speeds over...

    Cube Compact Hybrid 20

Off topic: We should establish the Cube Hybrid trekking club of Athens!

Cube Agree Hybrid C:62 Race Disc E-Bike 2019

One of the reasons I hate all this full integration trend! Proprietary parts and complexity for things we could do easier with classic clamps, stems, handlebars, etc I can see some benefits for some very aero designed bikes but not for a normal road bike. Lets see what Cube will say! Have you...

Cube Agree Hybrid C:62 Race Disc E-Bike 2019

Open a support case with Cube or through your local dealer! With the broken bolt it seems like overtorque has been applied but still... About the temp clamp, be sure that the height of the clamp part is equal to the original one. If not you are risking the integrity of the carbon fiber tube. I...

Cube Agree Hybrid C:62 Race Disc E-Bike 2019

Can you please share photos of the seatpost clamp before and after? If the frame is carbon, is the seatpost carbon too? Which torque wrench you use?

    Cube Compact Hybrid 20

I like your sporty position and the clipless pedals. It reminds me my Hybrid despite the fact they are totally different frames. I have seen a huge improvement on the position by changing the handlebars to a narrower and flat I borrowed from another bike of mine to see what I will need to...

I have the Dimanche 29.3 and 29.5 and love them

26+ kg is the bike and another 82 me with all equipment on. Pretty light for my height. But the height is an aero disadvantage too as I am something like a mast in the wind :)

    Cube Compact Hybrid 20

They got my attention too. Probably as a replacement to my Brompton that I dont use anymore after leaving downtown and moving away from the city. I wonder how a 1.97m fit guy will look on one of this! 😅

I have the Dimanche 29.3 and 29.5 and love them

I am riding the same motor on another brand's bike and the 90rpm are over their prefered range. When you have the shift down/up indicator enabled you're getting a shift up indication above ~85 rpm I have not depleted a fully charged battery (625) on any of my rides and I dont intend too. But I...

Cube Nuride arrived. Terrible quality control?

I really admire Specialized for some of their technology but I dont like at all the very custom proprietary solutions they apply on many things. I see my eBike as a vehicle, not just any other bike, and I prefer to have an easy service through independent Bosch locations instead of having to pay...

Cube Nuride arrived. Terrible quality control?

I think that its more possible that someone at the LBS mounted a pedal on the wrong side and flattened all threads. I have seen that before in a local shop. Of course, you then take your bike and rrrruuuunnnnn away!

Cube Nuride arrived. Terrible quality control?

Stefan, unfortunately this is a crazy year due to Mr. Covid-19. I think it will more or less the same in 2021 too. These are estimations provided by Cube. Cube is not building bikes to stock them in warehouses and then wait for the orders. Every dealer must request the bikes they need very early...

    How much torque is enough?

with my 26 kg tank of a bike and without any motor support (as I go much faster than 25.5 downhill) I have exceeded speeds of 70km/h very easily. I dont want to calculate the forces applied on the headtube and steerer when braking from speeds like this :) Hopefully the owner of that modded...

Cube Nuride arrived. Terrible quality control?

It sounds like a really bad dealer Homet! I am sorry for all the troubles you had. Did the Nuride come on the original Cube box? I guess that it was repacked after the test assembly by your dealer. What I have seen is that the dealers ignore that these are not normal 8-15 kilos bikes! Mine came...

    How much torque is enough?

All Bosch documentation has the information for the different motors. e.g. pages 32, 33 and 89 https://www.bosch-ebike.com/fileadmin/EBC/Service/Downloads/Bedienungsanleitungen/MY2021/Produktkatalog/Bosch-eBike-Product-Catalogue-MY2021-EN.pdf?_=1599566539 and their user manual of all three Gen...

    How much torque is enough?

I can understand the reason, but the steerer and the headtube are not designed to accept such huge torque values created by the handlebars so far away from the end of the headtube. I know that Cube overbuilds their frames in that area but still. It seems wrong and an accident waiting to happen.

    How much torque is enough?

I was on the hunt on September waiting for the 2021 models. I got the one and only XL of my model and colour that appeared in Germany on a very big dealer. In 5 days it was with me in Greece (and just 19 euro shipping). I hope you will receive yours asap. I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot.

    How much torque is enough?

this whole handlebar rising structure (that is an aftermarket installation) seems totally wrong and probably a bit dangerous to me :(

    How much torque is enough?

Check Bosch's site and see the Gen 3 motors. The first one was the Active Line Plus and the next year (2020) the new Performance Line. I know, as I'm riding this every day :)

    How much torque is enough?

Gen3 motors had zero drag first, when the latest Active Line Plus motor appeared in 2019. The Gen3 Performance Line Cuise is a lot quieter that the CX, designed with the things you need for touring and commuting. The range I get out of it is amazing. After 430km on the bike (625 battery), I can...
