The law in philadelphia on "momas e scooter"

I am in Philadelphia and ride my ebike there pretty "recklessly" in front of officers all the time. One officer even asked my why I was walking my bike on the sidewalk and not riding it... I said because its the law.. he laughed and said oh yeah. They really are lenient there I wouldn't worry.

    Riese & Müller Delite review

Sorry to hear about all the struggles! Especially if a lot of it was caused by incompetence :/ That is cool that you still use your human powered bike. I can't even think about hopping on anything but an electric bike now that I've been spoiled, terrible I know... I don't mind pedaling hard...

Nyon Upgrade in USA worked out of the box!

Hey James. I ordered a Nyon a couple weeks ago from Bike Discount in Germany, where did you order yours from and how long did it take to come if you don't mind me asking? Are you in the US? I have everything now upgraded on my bike besides that Nyon I am waiting for, and also that new Sherlock...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

I apologize for the late reply, I had no idea that anyone replied here again because I was never getting emails. I've been on the forums a bunch of times too which is the sad part... lol I am able to take the full size bike on the Subway, you just walk onto the train with it and stand in the...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

Sorry for the late reply! I have been quite busy and did some videos for my review. I seem to not be getting emails anymore for people replying on this thread, so I assumed no one has said anything in the past couple weeks!:( Two feet of snow is way too extreme to try and ride, and those...

Thank you for clearing that up, thankfully it is not just me. A set of chains might be a good idea haha! It was quite an experience out there in the snow. Sorry for the late reply!

Riese & Müller Abbreviations, Model Names, Etc.

Hey Dan, I have owned the Delite GT Nuvinci HS for over a month now, and I just ordered a Charger GT Nuvinci HS for my girlfriend. I have ridden the Delite GX Rohloff on multiple occasions. In my opinion, the Rohloff is clearly a better system and a higher gear ratio of around 540%. The...

GPS Tracking device, in case of theft?

I bought a Riese & Muller Delite and want to do whatever I can to keep it from being stolen, so I researched gps devices for a long time, but no real solid product exists. Most of them have crappy tracking or have to text the device to find out its location. I found a GPS tracker that goes...

    Any Nuvinci failures here?

I know this is older and no one ever responded, but I bought an ebike with the NuVinci about a month ago. I definitely like it, but obviously can't comment yet on durability. In the future if you are still wondering you can message me and I will let you know! I do put a lot of miles on, I...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

I braved the storm today and rode about 20 miles throughout the afternoon/evening in Philadelphia today. I put up a picture of the bike tonight while waiting for the subway home. The GT tires did alright. I was riding on a bunch of different snow situations; soft thick snow, slushy...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

It sounds like you've got a great setup for yourself there with the Rohloff and chain, it would be nice to ride the Rohloff again and compare it since now I know how the NuVinci feels. The Rohloff sounds really cool now that you are explaining it to me. I am not really sure how the internals...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

I have been impressed with the tires so far. Today especially I hit a ton of large potholes at high speeds not paying attention to the road but more the cars. They absorb the impacts well, in addition to the suspension. I also heard class pop/crush quite loudly when I was riding fast but...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

I think you made a good purchase, the bike is great, and I like the orange color too. Don't worry you'll love it. I would have went with a Rohloff if I had the experience with it that you do. I just wanted the belt drive though:) That sounds cool about the trike, I would probably be scared...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

Most likely she will be getting the GT Nuvinci. Haha yes we can review that too but it will probably be a month or two by the time she decides to buy and then it ships. So far I do like the Nuvinci, but there are some things you have to learn about it from experience. The gear range is fine...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

I tried the delite they had on the floor and was sold right away. My girlfriend will be purchasing a Charger soon as well. I haven't gone on any trips far from home, however I do ride all over the place within Philadephia and went 30 miles each day on saturday and sunday. I still had at least...

    Riese & Müller Delite review

Hey Everyone! I wanted to begin this thread early in the hopes to answer some community questions in a video review I will be creating in the near future. I recently purchased a Riese & Müller Delite GT NuVinci HS from Chris and Kyle Nolte at Propel Bikes in Brooklyn, NY. I am still in the...
