About to take the Lectric leap. Man vs step thru

Didn’t mean to start a riff. The common denominator is that it seems whom ever owns one, step thru or not, seems to really like them!

About to take the Lectric leap. Man vs step thru

I’m ready to purchase Lectric bikes for me and my wife. We are both in our 60’s and are looking for a little exercise in a relaxing way. I’m getting the XP step-thru model for my wife and pondering the same model for myself. I’ve already addressed the issue of possibly hitting my knee on the...

Am I going full Wus or not?

After many hours of research, annoying posts, and returning a Limited model bike from Ride1UP, I may be going full circle and getting his and hers Lectric ebikes for me and my wife. I may stoop to further depths(no offense meant) and get the step thru model for myself. Mostly because the “men’s...

    Hitting knee on folding hinge

I am interested in possibly purchasing a his and hers Lectric bike for me and my wife. They are similar to the Sondors Fold X bike. On the Sondors bike there have been complaints of riders hitting their knees on the folding hinge while pedaling. Is that a problem found on the Lectric bike?

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

Lumpydog, On July 1 in this thread you posted a video showing the motor going on and off while maintaining the relatively same cadence and pedal pressure. This was a fantastic post. You completely captured the problem. I watched the video and said, yes, this is exactly what my Limited is doing...

I'm pondering a 700 also. It sounds silly but if I get it, I will not be installing the rack or fenders. I like the look of it better without and it will cut down a fews pounds.

I am very interested in the Yamaha entry level ebikes. Are there any bike dealers in the Fort Lauderdale or surrounding areas where I can test ride and purchase an electric bike?

I’m happy for you Lumpy! I was a little surprised you kept the bike after your earlier concerns. Ride1UP came thru for you! I wish I lived close by so I could give your bike a try. Safe biking!
