    UL Certified Ebikes

The European Union is so strict on safety it would surprise me if anything that is built or designed there that is electrical is tested and certified to be safe.

Coast whenever you can. Do not try to maintain speed up hills or worse yet gain speed. Peddle clips to maintain power 360 degrees.

Always a good idea to take pictures before fiddling. "The shortest pencil is better than the longest memory" Photos are even better.

Anyone replaced the controller of a 700 or Cafe Cruiser?

Connectors are definitely a weak spot in an electrical connection. They are most likely get warm or overheat before the wire will. A quality solder connection shrink wrapped is far superior and is my choice whenever possible. It will not heat up corrode or fail and they are easy to cut and...

I have a Ride1Up "Prodigy" with the Brose motor and it is as near silent as they come. I love this bike and the price is right too.

    Turning on the headlight.

I keep it on the auto setting. If there is a reason I want to alert someone of my presence I just put my hand over...

    Gonna Happen This Spring

I had a Juiced RC with a Bafang 750 W rear hub motor. It had cadence and torque sensing settings. On the torque sensing mode it never felt pushed, never. it was smooth as silk on the power delivery. It would come in so smooth I sometimes had to look to see if it was using any juice. It was...

Which electric bike to purchase in 2023? Please suggest.

I have seen someone suggestive removal of a brake caliper and see if the noise goes away. That would be a sure way to find out if that is where the noise is coming from.. One could just Tye wrap it off to the side to do a test ride. Just make sure you don't squeeze that brake leaver while is is...

What do they wear in Minnesota to keep your feet warm. Heavy felt lined boots. Anti-perspirant on your feet to keep them from sweating 'dry'.

    Bicycle pump track

I've wondered about that too. This new sports park is in Oro valley, AZ and it is city owned. I am an old duffer with brittle bones but will try riding the track while it gets done. I will be slow and careful to be sure. It will be interesting to watch the young and brave ride.
