Why are Brooks Saddles known for comfort?

In total agreement, I have 5 Brooks in various stages of development. My B17 is just wonderful. It reminds me of what I have to look forward too, has the others progress to reach that nirvana state.

Brew, you can alter the resistance setting for each ride. I have a Saris H3 smart trainer, and have found on Rouvy at 100% it is way to hard. I can climb Nunburnholme around 10mph in the road, to do this on Rouvy I have to set resistance at approximately 60% this also goes for all the Rouvy...

That's a fair tow you're producing Alaskan, good on ya. I expect, he's a very good climber? Built like that.

If you give it a try? Ride the Pock Pedal route (in UK Cycling Events) I live on the course, not far at all from Nunburnholme. The major climb on the route. I'm up there at least twice a week.

Good figures Alaskan. Now how much were you taking a draft? I would have been stuck to someone's back wheel for the whole ride.

Brew, have you tried Rouvy? Half price of Zwift. For me not racing anymore I find it more compatible with the riding I do now.

Glad ya sorted it Brew. That's what we are all here for. Picked your request up while stopped at a new cafe (for me) overlooking a lake on my first outdoor ride of the year. Couple of miles later my chain dropped to the inner ring mysteriously? Hadn't checked battery on Di2. First time using the...

Have you put the correct locking ring back on? It reads the cadence thus supplying info to the motor. Has about 20 small rounded of the front of it. These are magnets.

Why are Brooks Saddles known for comfort?

Obviously they used to, many moons ago. The odd Pro may still ride a Selle Rolls. Miguel Indurain did all through his career, it's by today standards a substantial saddle. I do know some Pros ride there own saddles not sponsored ones and transfer them from team to team. Modern saddles weigh well...

Why are Brooks Saddles known for comfort?

B17 is flatter, when broken in it spreads out a little more with a flat surface. All the touring guys use a B17 including myself for rides over 100 miles. The Swift and Professional are more domed and remain so. They indent at the rear whilst still maintaining a dome like ridge. They can look...

Why are Brooks Saddles known for comfort?

Ah, I only do it for breaking in period of saddle. It pushes you back slightly, thus helping you sit on the back of the seat. I've found this puts pressure on the leather helping it soften up.
