Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

Yep, sounds like fun and post some updates once you have your Ocean Current modded out.

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

Juiced Bike just issued shipping notification but their reply to the ticket did not provide any explanation. The controller is the next logical part to change out. I do not yet have a means to test the hall sensors in the motor without something that can do some basic data logging. I'm...

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

Update: Juiced bikes just responded to both of my open service tickets and are sending a replacement fork and motor controller. I'll keep everyone posted on how it works out.

HyperFat 1000 - Question to Owners

I might have mentioned this in other posts, but the tone of some of the HF1000 marketing and videos lends it to be a bit of a science experiment for Juiced. It’s a test of the market and also sled to develop their fatbike platform. I ordered my bike this time last year and took delivery in...

HyperFat 1000 - Question to Owners

HF1000 owner chiming in. I followed the development and manufacturing process of the bike all of last year and it was good to see a company take a risk using a different motor on a fat bike platform. It might be safe to assume that Juiced Bike didn't make a lot of money or broke even on the...

I misunderstood, sorry for the confusion.

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

For a regular commuter like me, ultimate reliability is key and this bike unfortunately does not meet that requirement. Luckily I have another ebike, Haibike Trekking S, that’s gone almost 5000 trouble free miles. My expectation before purchase was that the bike was a bit of “skunkworks” project...

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

I’ve emailed them every day since 3/30 with no response. They had me go through the usual process of checking connections and reseating everything, but this did not fix the problem. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

My bike is currently non operational due to an issue with the controller and or motor. The low speed stuttering that is a known issue was only slightly annoying. However my bike developed a random shutdown issue around 450 miles. I currently have 600 miles. There’s something going on with the...

Juiced Bikes HyperFat HF1000 Next Shipment?

It is an air fork suspension, but my experience with the fork was below par. The schrader valves used on the fork has very coarse threads that make it hard to attach a shock pump. As for performance, the fork became very stiff after about 200 miles. I’m still awaiting a replacement unit from...

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

Checking in here after about four months of ownership and 500 miles. The bike is amazing when it works, but I've had the following issues: 1. Battery mount cracked - replaced under warranty 2. Front shock lost travel and got stiff - waiting for warranty replacement. 3. Motor/Controller having...

    Cobi users

I haven't used my Cobi unit since last year, but I did ride about 1250 miles with it. During the 5 months that I used it, the app crashed about 3 times which made me swap over to my intuvia display. I always kept the intuvia display with me at all times as a backup. The one bummer with my...

    Electric Bike Lights

I suspect the m99 is passive in its use of the CANBUS data. From what I understand the light is using the speed sensor data to regulate the low beam output power. It’s a awesome light but crazy expensive once you add up the cost of the light, mount, wiring harness, and installation time...

    Electric Bike Lights

Yes, I was ultimately successful. I'm not completely sure, but the problem that I experienced was likely due to a faulty battery wiring harness. My dealer replaced it under warranty. Once I sorted that issue I just took the precaution to purchase this harness...

    Beware the Bicycle Lane

I’ve been following this thread and I’m glad you’re ok @Reid Even though a horn probably couldn’t have helped as the driver cut his turn so quickly, I found it’s easy to setup a horn on the Juiced Bike if you feel like a little project. The headlight output on the Juiced Bike should be 48v. I...

    Dongling

I’d pass on the ASA unit. My ebike crew has three Bosch bikes chipped with BikespeedRS. I think we might have a combined mileage of over 3k miles running it without issues.

Notes and Thoughts about the 2016 SDURO Trekking RC

A couple of points that you mentioned are true about the trekking platform from Haibike. I have a 2016 with Bosch. The stock front light is not bright enough for speeds beyond 15mph in very dark conditions. I went to a Supernova m99 which is worth it given the number of miles I ride annually...

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

The motor on the HF is made by MAC. From what you describe, it sounds like maybe a gear tooth sheared off and its rattling around inside the housing. If a magnet unbonded from the motor casing it would sound a lot worse.

Dealing with rear wheel tire punctures

Btw, top tips: Check all of your new tubes for punctures and also re-check tubes that have been in saddle bags and panniers regularly. I had a friend get a flat only to realize that the new out of box spare tube was already punctured. Also, if you plan to run tire liners use scissors to round...

Dealing with rear wheel tire punctures

If you ride your bike enough, flats are a going to happen. When riding the same route over and over, you eventually figure out where all the sharp objects collect and learn to avoid them. I’m running tire liners, thick tubes, and stans sealant and still manage to get punctures. Sealant can...
