Good point. I like the M1 better. Just take the battery off to ride a 30 pound bicycle. Much more flexible.

I spoke with Polaris for over an hour about motorsports coming to bikes. They are serious. That is how they differentiate themselves. They do not think of themselves as bicycle manufactures. They are a motorsports company.

I plan on getting a motorcycle license. I will register the bike with DMV. I Will simply remove the battery when I need access to other areas. I need to get up my hill. I seriously doubt I can do 35mph on a 10% grade without some sort of motorcycle tech

The bikes over 50 pounds seem to be about 70 pounds. They have less torque than the 120Nm M1. it seems my best chances are with the M1. If the M1 cannot compete with cars, than I wait another year. I am patient.

I am very limited by roads. No resident rides a bike in my neighborhood. No bike lanes on a 10% grade hill. The speed limit is 35, but most cars go 40. I must go up a steep hill at least at 35mph in the RH lane. I run up the hill, so I imagine I can pedal hard.
