    Lumos Ultra

Coming soon, apparently. Soon is not defined. Tighter LED strip and a different type of LED. So, brighter. Flashing is available. Low price ($99) seems to be imperative. No mention of MIPS.

    Como vs Vado- HELP!

The manufacturers like the look of their bikes in stealthy colors: black, bronze, navy, dark red, ... Some of us who are going to be sharing the road with perennially distracted drivers of increasingly massive vehicles just want to be seen. Specialized seemed to understand this with those...

    Como vs Vado- HELP!

... because while the Dove Greys are selling out, Specialized seems to have plenty of Metallic Crimsons available. ;)

    Como vs Vado- HELP!

I still have my Tailbones Serfas wide springy gel saddle from the 1990s when I rode a Crossroads. Plan to install it, along with a Kinekt post, when my “better than red” Dove Grey Vado 4.0 arrives. I have never owned proper cycling garments of any kind. Am I really missing out on something there?

    Como vs Vado- HELP!

Might find a situation worthy of activating full turbo, too.

Neither love nor money can get you this Vado?

I've made my peace with the high step. Choosing visibility over stepping through. Let the ten-day delivery countdown begin. Apparently someone will be riding it from the warehouse in Salt Lake City to Sacramento. Actually, that wouldn't take ten days. At least not on a Class 3.

I got the lumos kickstarter helmet and its great

Seems they’re keeping it more secret than the next iPhone. Tighter light strips. Flashing capabilities. No idea when.

Maybe they're letting inventory run down ahead of the "Coming Soon" Ultra.

Looks like the Kickstarter MIPS is available in any color you like, as long as that color is Electric Lime.

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Light and inexpensive were the goals. Sacrifices may have been made toward that end.

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Did I miss the part where anyone listed the torque on the SL? I did look. Maybe not hard enough?

Neither love nor money can get you this Vado?

Looks like my options for a Turbo Vado 4.0 in Large are 1. Dove Grey but high step 2. Step Through but metallic crimson Cue the Rolling Stones ... I saw her today at the reception ...

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

iJustine has about 2 million subscribers and is what most schoolchildren aspire to be when they ... I was going to say “grow up,” but let’s switch that “graduate middle school”: a YouTube Influencer. The young people of today consider iJustine to be sitting on top of the world. The only...

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Jeez @Stefan Mikes , it’s like you don’t even read my posts. 😥 High step was the first “miss” on my list of SL no thank yous. See post #25 above. I’m tall enough I suppose, but high steps don’t appeal to me. We’re not making bikes out of bamboo anymore; modern step throughs are not flex fests.

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Not so much. I’m not that attracted to high steps in general. Unnecessarily awkward anymore. If I’m going eBike, I like a wider range of power available. Options. If I were happy with lower power, I’d go with my initial preference, the Verve+ 3. The “permanent” battery solves the installation...
