Got my 2020 Vado 4.0 in May. Bike was manufactured in 2018. Lo Bat appeared in August. Hoping the replacement 1220 lasts longer than the first one did.

The 1220 is a tough battery to find. I got mine at Batteries Plus on Howe Ave in Sac. None at Target. None at Emigh/Ace Hardware.

It seems willing to go 60° either direction. Farther is going to involve what seems like the kind of torque that could snap plastic that wasn't meant to snap.

I have not. I am so new to the enterprise that I’m hoping for some level of expertise from the LBS. Their skill in running my CC was flawless. I’m beginning to worry it was not representative.

I went with the Thule Easyfold XT2, too. REI has them on sale but backordered to 5 Aug 20. Don’t have immediate need, so I’ll wait it out. Probably get the long ramp, too, once the rack arrives. Using it on a 4Runner. Not lifted, but it stands high as it is.

So easy to mess around with. Right now my settings on my Vado 4.0 are E: 20-40 S: 40-80 T: 80-100 I’m happy with them for now. But who knows what tomorrow will bring?

In our low-humidity environment, sweat does its job well. I say that as someone who grew up in high-humidity Michigan.

A Vado rider on a FB Vado/Como group had the creak. His LBS inspected and found a frame fracture. Specialized gave him a new bike. Also, why was my 2020 Vado 4.0 Dove Grey made 10/12/2018 (via frame S/N sticker)? Seems odd.
