    Garmin Questions

Stefan, I know you love your Wahoo. I really like Garmin. So I'm not going to argue which is better, because they are both good devices. I use it on an SL. It is possible to configure data screens from a smart phone. At least the screens I use. I do get all the data from my bikes...

    Garmin Questions

I'd recommend a Garmin 840. Don't get the 540, as the newer Garmin OS really is better with Touchscreen. I use a Garmin 840 and previous to that a Garmin 530. The 840 is also faster at doing many things than the 530/830. From Stefan's list that I disagree with about Garmin computers...

    2025 Vado

Drilling a hole for the kinekt is pretty easy. I even had Kinekt do it for me. So I wouldn't say "Don't".

Turbo Vado SL5 vs Skitch Flatbar! And the winner is...

The GX AXS Skitch with the Rudy fork looks really good.

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

I've seen some people do that. Didn't seem worth it, but if you look at the Creo (and Canyon like above), seems like you can get a better drop bar bike, for a better price than the Vado SL2. Removed my questions. Don't want to hijack this thread. May start a new thread for it. Has...

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

My neighbor just got a Canyon Grizl:ON CF 9. If only I could use a drop bar bike. I wish the SL2 was like this Canyon but flatbar. Also same price range. I really like that the Canyon has seat suspension and a real suspension in the fork. Also still only weighs 35 lbs. And AXS that...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Also, I no longer use that cover over the battery. Seems irrelevant on a road/gravel bike.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I can't remember if I attached to the existing hanger, or if the AXS came with a hanger. I think I used the existing hanger. https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/specialized-turbo-vado-sl-an-incredible-e-bike-user-club.43468/post-570948

Not sure about the warranty. I didn't look at wiring it directly from the bike.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

If you search on some threads, I did this upgrade a few years ago. Love the AXS on my Vado SL. Silent, quick shifting. No adjustments needed. Just make sure the battery is charged, and/or carry a spare! Took about 30 mins. Also, I was able to remove the derailleur cables, since it's...

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

Then when you get to 45lbs+, wouldn't it be better to get a full power ebike withmore power, bigger battery, and just use a low power mode?

I see a future shock on the regular SL 6.0. no?

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

Yeah. Doing a comparisoon, SL 5.0 vs SL 2 6.0 it's 32 lbs vs 35 lbs. So SL is lighter.

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

Interesting, the display is on the stem now. Not sure if I like that. I have my Garmin Edge 840 mounted on my stem.

Vado SL 2 Carbon LTD premiered today!

1.2 more with more power, bigger battery 520wh vs 320wh. Bigger tires Hemisphere 700x47. Looks like they went all Shimano derailleur except for the top end AXS Sram. Also, only carbon frame, no aluminum. Pricing seems too high at this point. Its priced at $6000 for the SL2, which is what...
