This is the one I mean. MY21 available in Canada now. My wife and I ordered at the end of August and just got them a few weeks ago but we haven’t been able to get out on them due to the weather.
My wife is jealous. Her family is from Yorkshire and Lancashire, so now I’ve been told that for our next visit to the UK we are visiting the Tower and she wants a Chip Barm at the cafe. Your fault. 😆
@Chargeride I did some sleuthing on Google and came up with Darwen tower and Vaughn’s Country Cafe as your location. Looks like beautiful countryside summer and winter although I’d imagine the winds can really howl across the moors. 😊

I was wondering about the updates because various members have posted about starting the firmware update in the app and getting stuck at x% and having to try again. There is no option in my app to do any firmware updates. I’m guessing that it might be an “on demand” thing that only appears when...
I just got my Explore and the RideControl app a few weeks ago. Where in the app is the firmware upgrade option? The app updated itself to the latest v1.2.1 but I have not seen any options to upgrade the firmware for the bike.
My wife’s Explore e + Pro finally arrived. Weather cleared a bit today so managed a very short ride so that we could play around with set up and for her to get the feel of gears and assist. The grin was there for a while afterwards. 😊
Come on spring. 🙏
Thanks @FlatSix911 that code does work.
However, my point was that if you enter any of the past expired codes you immediately get an ”invalid code” error on the very first page when checking out, whereas the “CUSTOMER15” code gets accepted on the first page and deducts the discount. On the next...
I entered the “CUSTOMER15” discount code and it gets accepted on the “Information” page with the 15% discount shown, but as soon as I go to the ”Shipping” page and enter my details (I’m in Canada) I get this message “CUSTOMER15 discount code isn’t available to you right now”. It does not say...
The Giant Roam E+ might work for you. Listed at $2699 but independent bike stores might negotiate a better price. If you’re looking for a more MTB style then the Giant Talon E+ 29 2 but it is a bit more expensive. The Roam would be a better commuter though.
Except for some minor exceptions the South African railway system runs exclusively on the narrow 3’6” (1067mm) gauge, and they run some of the heaviest freight trains in the world. Many other African countries from the colonial era also use the same gauge. It was cheaper to build and easier to...
@Stefan Mikes I was only on the 2nd level assist on flat road and putting some effort in. Mmmm, I wonder if the VOLspeed will work on the MY2021 Explore Pro? 😊 🚴 💨 I spoke to my LBS about the speed restriction and he said that it is software dependant on country of delivery. I’m guessing it...
Finally picked up my Explore e+ 1 Pro on Tuesday. 😀 Couldn’t ride it due to crappy weather of rain and snow so was giving it a once over and setting things to my liking. Will probably tinker with it for a while before I’m happy. Today finally got a chance to take it out and went for a short ride...
Hey Stefan. Maybe it is new for 2021 in the EU but I found Explore E+ Pro 45km/h models are advertised on Giant‘s websites for Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria so far. Could be coming to Poland soon. 😉
