    Bike's value over time

I've contacted the seller and a local Giant bike shop to see about its availability and if a battery can be found for it.

    Bike's value over time

Thanks... it's also like a mile from where I work.. (maybe a bit more). But today is my telework day, of course. I work 21 miles from home and I ain't going to the city for that today! It's interesting, but I was looking at a folding bike option to keep at work. Huh... Now JayVee has me...

    All wheel drive Stretch

And why not go for it if you are more certain it is for you? It was a HUGE decision for me to buy the Pedego. We earn well, but it's not like we are swimming in money (also paying for college at this time for our older son). It took 6 months of juggling funds to pay it off without paying...

    Bike's value over time

I am in a search for a 2nd Electric bike - one to keep at work. While I have SERIOUS doubts of a used bike, I still look to see what is out there and I realize that, for the most part, these don't age well and you can spend a fortune on a bike and not be able to sell it at all in a few years...

    All wheel drive Stretch

I think, if possible, you should try them out to see which you need. Of course, if money isn't a real consideration, then 2 motors might be perfect! I weigh about the same, And I ride all the time with heavy loads - including carrying my 145 pound, 12 year old son, on the back. Several times...

    All wheel drive Stretch

I have the standard model. The new model will be available in April and it seems both options will be available - one and two motors.

Funny to see this after MONTHS of not being here - with the same need a folding bike to have at work. :-)

    Dealer Markups-Wow!

Seems like a normal mark-up as they are the ones who have stores to rent, employees to hire, putting them together, follow-up courtesies etc.

Second ebike to keep at work

Jus did some searching and asking. I would not want to deal with this several days a week. And I absolutely do not have room to store the stretch for the week, say.

Second ebike to keep at work

Maybe I need to watch a youtube on this - one how easy and quick to use. Another "issue" is parking at my work is SHORT, so I would have to park elsewhere, I suppose, but that isn't usually a big deal. Now, we are planning on buying a new car soon.... so there is that wrinkle too. Right now, it...

Second ebike to keep at work

Huh... no idea! But that is about 3-4 blocks from where I work. :-) I know our building's elevator was inspected by MD, but we're in DC. It's been a problem since it was put in about 12 years ago! :-)

What is the weight limit on the Pedego Stretch

Been away for MONTHS... I called Pedego. The TOTAL capacity is 400lbs (plus bike). Somewhere along the line retailers and etailers got rider plus 400 for cargo - not true.

    Pedego 2018 Models

I think their Stretch $ is the one that doesn't have really a competition for it at a lower price. I looked at the Yuba bikes. By time time I got what I wanted, Yuba was pricier. There is also the extracycle, but if I recall right, has a lower weight limit too. AND lower seats, so if you have a...

    All wheel drive Stretch

I was just lamenting today on the FB Pedego Owners page that I had my first pangs of regret of buying my Stretch. I LOVE that bike - serious love it. Then, time, thought, and a few respondants got me thinking more. One, it will cost $900 more for these two motors. Second, it doesn't say it...

    2017 Voltbike Urban

Just wanted to add that I decided to get this bike after reading all the comments here and seeing volt tech videos to help with adjustments, etc. it makes me feel more confident. I already have an ebike- a Pedego stretch which I love, but I can only use it at home as I work an uncommutable 21...

Second ebike to keep at work

So last year I was trying to decide on a bike that would be good for around my community. One that I could use for grocery shopping and running errands and so forth. It’s able to take a passenger and that was a bonus. In the end I decided to get the Pedego Stretch and I have not regretted it...

Cargo ebike for two adults occasionally

While I'm not going down to one car (as my husband and I commute 19-20 miles in opposite directions - living in the middle), I am wanting to ditch the big car for around town. About height adjustments... that might be tricky for both of you, actually. It can fit all body types, but you might...

Cargo ebike for two adults occasionally

Thanks... now to see if my husband will OK getting it sooner than later due to finances. This is no small purchase. But I am feeling trapped at home for some things as driving is so difficult for some places or always stuck to a car - which I hate for my son too.
