I read somewhere that they did change from both LG and Samsung to only Samsung for 2.0. LG = 10.4ah and Samsung = 9.6ah if memory serves. Rumored to test nearly identically so I don't know if it matters. The lack of battery and/or motor upgrade were some of my biggest reasons for not upgrading...

Fingers crossed. Knock on wood. I chose to decline the upgrade. But I did get wider bars, cloud 9 seat, and a suspension seat post. Think it was about $75 for all three.

I dunno either. Years ago i had a few family beach cruiser bikes for riding around paved neighborhood bike paths. Got it in my head to go with tubeless tires. Bad idea. After swapping to the tubeless the bike was much harder to pedal. But, I digress.

I plan to keep things even at 8 and 8. I haven't researched it enough to know if slime can affect tire balance, spoke tension, brake alignment, or anything else. But I've already got a 16 oz jug ready to go.

I vote Lectric gives everyone waiting a complimentary set of accessories including an extra battery and a suspension seat post. Unfortunately, my vote means nothing.
