    PAS Lag After Downhill

It's not a failure or degradation though, is it? I think this has been happening since day 1. I didn't think it was quite as noticeable early on, but I'm probably just remembering it.

    PAS Lag After Downhill

Doesn't even look like we have a c6 in the US via NCM. Magnum Bikes has it advertised but out of stock though.. for $100. https://www.leoncycle.com/electric-bicycle-parts-accessories/electric-bicycle-displays https://www.magnumbikes.com/product/das-kit-c6-display/

    PAS Lag After Downhill

C7 here too. Thanks for the info. I guess it is what it is. Been going a new route lately that gets me up just shy of 40mph on a downhill then immediately goes uphill again and it's annoying.

    PAS Lag After Downhill

Hi, With a Moscow Plus, does anyone else experience a lag in the PAS kicking back in after coming down a hill going fast? I notice when I get to the bottom and slow down below the speed the PAS normally gets me up to, the PAS does not necessarily kick in right away. So, for example, if I have...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I would for sure second that people should be prepared to do maintenance. The miles rack up on these faster than on a regular bike and bike parts wear out or need adjusting faster than the comparable part on a car. The good news is with youtube, and enough space to do a little work, I really...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I had the unfortunate luck to have to do this last weekend for the first time. The good news is it is easy. 18 and 19mm wrench, loosen both sides of the wheel. Loosen it a bit, but I didn't need to actually remove the bolts. Pull the plug on the motor and cut the last zip tie so you dont rip out...

    Turning the Battery off

Mine is exactly the same way. Warm enough that I thought the same thing in my head, but not hot by any means. That said, I'd say when it's charging and the lights are also on (as it seems to do) it's even a little warmer around the power button. I also found it odd that the battery does not seem...

    Brake Pads Worn?

Thanks! I like the idea of the cotter pin. I'll go that direction once I get the pin out of there. Looks like the original issue I had was just dirt or some other contamination. I ran some errands today for about 13-14 miles, after cleaning things some yesterday and the problem appears to be gone.

    Brake Pads Worn?

It was a little difficult because the rack I put on is in the way of getting a good view of them but I was able to see. I think the pads are ok. I used some rubbing alcohol and that may have made things better. Unfortunately before, when I tried to get the pin for the pads out to look at them...

    Brake Pads Worn?

Hi, I have about 450 miles on my Moscow Plus. When I took it out today and hit the rear brake, I felt, and heard, a weird random throbbing that I never felt before. It was noticeable when I gave the back brakes some pressure. If I just pressed them lightly everything would feel fine. Rotor...

    Wheel pinging

For what it's worth, I thought maybe I heard this a little in the past. Well, fast forward a month or two and the front tire needs to be trued an am having that done soon. I think I read somewhere recently on the forum that the spokes aren't necessarily done up that well from the factory...

    Throttle settings

I've found eco, PAS 4 to be a good combo for speed and range, but that's with the 500W motor. I've used eco, one way or another, since pretty much day 2 of having the bike but recently I put the back into normal mode so I'm trying to get an idea of how much that is going to eat into the range...

C7 Controller shows different voltage then actual battery.

Interesting. Mine reads 53.8 when it was fully charged too. Maybe a -0.6 or -0.7v bias on the display. I think 54.6v would be a fully charged battery (4.2v*13 cells), although I'm sure 54.4 is very reasonable over that many cells.

C7 Controller shows different voltage then actual battery.

Interesting! I *think* the lowest I've seen the battery go is two of four lights but I also never got to the point where the power cut out. I got to the point where the display was blinking the battery symbol once and just assumed the computer was about to cut the power off before the logic...

What do they both read when the battery is full?

I'd suggest calling them. They are slow replying to emails.

Throttle/pedal assist not working consistently, cable connection issue?

Excellent to hear! I have the same bike... you'll love it once you get it running!

Throttle/pedal assist not working consistently, cable connection issue?

Strange - be sure to call Leon Cycle instead of email. They have been helpful over the phone, but email response time isn't always the best.

Rider made a comment yesterday on the trail

Haven't run into any comments from people outside yet, but I'd think those haters will keep their mouths shut pretty soon. ebikes are popping up all over for tons of different reasons and are becoming accepted more than ever. I'm in my 30s, I'm still very capable of conventional biking and I do...

    Profit Margins

Just out of curiosity - does anyone have any idea what a general profit margin is for ebike companies? I know that's a loaded question and there are 700 dollar ebikes and there are 10,000 dollar ebikes, but I'm just trying to get a general sense of how much an ebike company makes off of a bike...
