    Longest lasting tire recommendation

100% agree on Schwalbe tires being an excellent choice, with the particular model depending on your use case and size needs. When I used to have heavier e-bikes, I got maybe 8000 miles on I think the Schwalbe Marathon Greenguards.

    CF Racer1 Road Delivered Today

I hear you. I’m likely going to just be switching back and forth my regular single speed (16 lb track based Al frame/Carbon fork bike with freewheel) and the CF Racer. Though someday I want to get/build an ultra lightweight Ti single speed.

    CF Racer1 Road Delivered Today

I didn’t need this one either 😁, but I think they hit a home run with this design and price. Already donated one of my other bikes this year, to keep my self-imposed total down to four (two regular, two e-bikes).

    CF Racer1 Road Delivered Today

That was me too, but the new bike was too tempting, and turns out is really that good that it’s almost a must have, ha! Btw, I’m normally a flat bar guy, but the drop bars are very comfortable and brake hood position good.

I corrected typo, I meant Panaracer GravelKing EXTs for gravel and dirt riding. Good plan to use until replacing.

    CF Racer1 Road Delivered Today

After years of trying different tires and sizes, have switched all bikes to Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires in 28mm size, for a great balance of incredibly low rolling resistance, and decent puncture resistance. There is nothing else I’ve found that can beat these. For Gravel, Panaracer...

Nice. I got the Gravel, and swapped out for road skinny tires.

    CF Racer1 Road Delivered Today

I got my CF Racer too, and agree with your conclusions, it’s a keeper for sure :) Easy to ride, great fit and finish, and perfect for those that want to ride a bike and have experience with acoustic bikes. Love it! And for me, keeping it likely stock, except for tires. Working out as-is, and...

    Disappointed after purchasing an e-bike?

Recent disappointment = weight I have lightweight e-bikes and regular bikes. And really enjoy how easy to handle, transport and be able to ride without assist they are. But when my SO (who doesn’t ride a lot) needed an ebike to ride with me, and needed decent range and power, to get that we...

New Carbon Fiber Bike from Ride1up

Yeah, my Roadster v2 seemed to be in the 33 lb range, but I never believed the Gravel could be the same with disc brakes. This person did weigh the CF Racer road version at the start of the video:

    Searching for the perfect ebike

For me, I was fine with checking each of the specific dimensions of the online bikes I was looking at to verify approximate fit, and then using a tape measure to adjust settings to same as existing bikes after getting the new bikes. In my case, the Ride1UP bikes had great pricing, good...

New Carbon Fiber Bike from Ride1up

Based on my Roadster (or Gravelster), which uses the same external battery, expect there should be no problem. Uses both at the same time, and if one has more voltage, it’ll draw down from that one. (At least I think that’s how it works, but it worked fine for me).

New Carbon Fiber Bike from Ride1up

Yes, frame fit is so important. Though I wouldn’t necessarily just go by the frame size number, but would check the specific dimensions and compare with a current bike that fits.

    Frame breakage Vado turbo

Does the weight of the bike matter, to risk for breaking? Looks like the Vado is 60 lbs, and the CF Racer is 28 lbs (and also have a lower rider weight limit).

    Rear wheel spokes

In that case, you need to call around shops to find ones that’ll make spokes for you. Sometimes the set up for the particular size you need may involve an initial cost.
